If most vans in your area in in rough shape, look elsewhere.

You should be able to find something decent with 6 G's.

TOW PACKAGE!!

If you did go with a trailer, what would you use to haul it up and over all those hills?
I have a diesel 2014 F-250.

Certainly more than adequate which likely makes a trailer option seem even more appealing, but a used van is probably your best long term option.

What vehicle do you use now for your business?
Right now I just run a portable and 175, so I have been using my suburban. But I have a used truck mount coming and will need a home for it.

Sell the Suburban and add the cash to the 6 G van fund.

Although not ideal, can you use the F1Fiddy for your porty stuff in the mean time?

Got a cap on the back of it?

No cap. But I have considered this option before. The suburban has always been just a nice 3rd vehicle for us. But probably a sacrifice I'll have to make to fire up the business.

The extra coin from the GMC would only be necessary if you really can't find something decent for 6 g's, which would surprise me.

How far are you from a major area/city?

I'm not that far out I live in a small ski resort town in Montana.

That would explain the poor selection.

You need to do your homework online using Craigslist and online used dealer inventories from the closest major areas to search for a list of candidates, and them take a day trip to try to check out half a dozen of them.

The majority of used dealers have their inventories viewable online nowadays.

I just scored a 12' box truck, single rear wheel axle, 2004 Ford E350 with 15,xxx miles on it for $7,100... Thing is like Bawb new..... I got it from a GSA Auction... Great score for me as I could sell it for $12,000 easy... I'm not sure how well it'd work for me, but I'm going to find out... The box is pretty tall on it 9'9" from ground to top... Has a nice cage in the back to keep it secure when I'm on night jobs...

Not sure how to copy and paste to MB. Not hard to find, google east montana craigslist and type in 2002 chevy express.

Just copy the address and paste it directly into the message.

HTML will recognize it as an address and display it as a clickable link when it converts the message.
