That's what they said in Vegas 3000 rpm

The pro 1200 has the same blower spinning at 3450 I think.

It's a lot of vacuum for a single wand or a wand and upholstery tool.

Is there a formula to figure out or is there a maximum CFM that can go through a 2 inch hose before the blower begins to bog down?
There was a whole thread on that a while back, have to see if I can find it. But the blower wouldn't bog down, the vacuum level would just increase to the point that the relief starts to open. And the wand has a huge influence on system flow as you actually clean as well.

Then with holed glides your cfm would
drop too.
It's hard to make generalizations, the wand-carpet interface is pretty complex. What kind of carpet? How hard does the unglided wand lock down compared to the glided wand? If the unglided wand locks down hard the glided wand could conceivably increase flow - it depends on a lot of variables.

If you're just holding the wand up in the air then yes, adding a holed glide would probably decrease flow - but that's not how we clean....

You obviously never worked for Millers in the 80's

So Dan, did you ever figure out if the X-drive is 240 volts or 480 Volts or DC? Is it three phase?

Can I plug my house into it if the power goes out?

No, I don't have any more info than I did, but pretty sure you won't be able to use it as a backup generator...

We can't offer much information beyond what you could see at a trade show, as testing comes with a non-disclosure agreement. It's up to HydraMaster to decide when to release what information.

That being said, if you saw it at a show you'd notice that the unit has multiple speeds. Turn it down for delicate stuff, up for long runs or two wand operation. One benefit of this layout; the truck engine speed doesn't have to change.

A DC generator would run at a constant speed as well, the output is regulated by varying the field current.

Dan you were suppose to have all the technical electric info about the X-drive.

Come on we are depending on you...
