Hi Guys,
I have posted a while back that I am looking to get back into the business on a part time basis to start but I am finally ready to do it!

Picked up a Thermal Wave 2 in pretty good shape. It was frozen but I am having Jon Don replace the heat exchangers and rebuild the pump and they think that I should be good to go!

For now my partner and I are mounting it in a 6x12 dual axle trailer. I know I know everyone hates working in trailers but for now it will have to do. I have a couple of trucks that I use for my daily job and my partner has one as well so we have plenty of tow trucks. If it works out as a business then we will most likely upgrade to a box truck in a year or two.

In the meantime can anyone recommend a fuel tank that can mount on the trailer tongue and be dot approved?
Thanks guys! I look forward to rejoining the discussions!
Anthony

That's a big machine for getting back in on a part time basis. (depends on what your business model is focusing on I guess)
You must have gotten a killer deal?

Can I ask where did you found the machine?

I'm trying to get back in part time too but I need to get better/newer equipment too, just like you.

Thanks,
Captain Morgan

How do you plan to heat inside in the PA winters, especially if you are out working and the trailer has to sit for a while?

Yeah we did get a killer deal on the machine. I was looking for something smaller but found this on craigslist. A mechanic bought the van at auction and the machine was in it. He didn't know anything about it so he let it freeze solid last winter.

I found that link while doing a search as well but it doesn't seem like that one tank that he had is available anymore. I'm surprised that I haven't been able to find something with a google search.

When I was in the business years ago I set up a small space heater for when we had it parked. I will probably do the same. We insulated the ceiling so that should help. AS far as when on jobs, I'm not sure yet. Possibly a propane heater if we are going to be away from home for long without the truckmount running.
