I heard recently that people are pissed about him duplicating content and images everywhere and not completing work such as links and citations......................due diligence

Yes Fred. There was a huge blowup on Mason's Facebook group page about it. I guess one guy was mad that his personal content was being used on many different websites.
My guess is that when you sign up you are probably signing away your rights to any property on your website. It instantly becomes part of the SEO package system

Apparently I need to clarify, 2k was for the design of a website with the doohickeys. I have no idea about SEO. I had a phone consultation last week.

Was going to mention....but saw that several others already did. There was someone that posted about a bad experiences (not getting results, copying content) on several other pages, not just Masons. And a few other people came forward as well with similar experiences. It's my understanding it's in the hands of the lawyers now. Just do your due diligence. Anything that sounds too good to be true, probably is.

I was first on google places in my city before now I show up on a lot other areas I moved up to first page in other areas too.
I think Yelp makes me more money.
So I stopped SEO and now more focused on Facebook!

You can change the ftp password anytime, and you can host your site any where you want unless you signed something to the contrary.

To answer Marty question I heard recently somebody inquired about getting hoodledink to make them a site and SeO it and never heard back from him so I'm imagining hoodledink has hit saturation point and is no longer taking on work

I just had Joe redo my website. I'm very pleased. I did write my own content for most of it. I just started marketing to a new city so I paid for 6 months in advance for SEO work. Hoping they do a good job just like last time with me.

They have done two sites for us and we were pleased with the results. This last one we suppied the content and they did the design. Leah Zins is very easy to work with and went way beyond what we were hoping for.

I just reworked my website and learned something about SEO. Unless you have a physical address in a city you are trying to rank in you are paying for blue sky. What some do is if they have a friend in that city they will ask them to use their physical address to get around it.
Remember about content no one can sell you better than you can sell yourself. Whether you have some one do a website site for you or you do it yourself you should come up with your own content. From what I understand originality helps with ranking.

I think I paid around 600 it was a package deal. It looks better than the old one they did for me. I added a couple more pages and did lots of changes to the others. I also really like Leah. I also pay them by the hour when I was not using them for SEO. Always thought they gave me more than what I paid for.
