That's what I've been charging, not that I've done a lot.

Does it take you twice as long?

Sometimes it does if I have to scrub every grout line. It's twice as much labor when each grout line is agitated also.
If it doesn't take twice as long, I charge the .50. The reason being, it's worth it. The customer has tried everything in their cabinet and made their knees sore in the process over a period of months to years. So in their eyes, when they see that brown grout turn white again, it's worth what my prices are.

I'll stick with my 2-jet turbo for a dependable impact vs the same pressure across 4 jets. I've had 2 different 4-jet rinse tools and the impact cleaning doesn't compare to a 2-jet spinner at the same pressure. I've always gotten more sustainable heat with 2-jets over 4. I'd be interested in maybe a 3-jet but only if the surrounding vac interface was designed like the Turbo. The 4-jet tools are spraying against rushing vacuum; never understood why they haven't improved that.

Far as pricing, I still wear rubber boots when I'm lurking.....

This tool is designed for a few things..

• Following a spinner tool to get edges, stairs, under furniture, etc
• Cleaning tile and grout that has been well maintained and some what recently "Turbo'd" and not in need of a heavy scrubbing, or any scrubbing, and only needs a mopping and pressurized rinse.
• Cleaning of well sealed wood, all vinyl, concrete, Terrazo and laminates
• Soft stones and coated clay tiles where 700 psi from 4 or less jets can cause surface etching/damage

The tool itself will feature

• a 2" vacuum tube with Tom's swivel
• 12" head
• A unique head and vac chamber design, never before seen or used in this industry, to increase air velocity for quicker, more thorough water pick up
• Brush Ring w/ adjustable vac relief to control vacuum loss through the bristles.
• 6 jets to decrease change of streaking and etching
• Low profile head design
• Reasonable price point.

Correct, all current hard surface tools are very weak in design. Some or slightly better than others, a few are pure garbage.

I've got a 4 jet floor tool that the head will swap out for a single jet I haven't tried the single jet yet. And I just got that 2 jet hand tile tool.

I also have a 15 in turbo but that I don't keep in the van yet. I need to start pushing tile now.

If it's actually dirty... It's worth much more! Really, it's hard work.


We are a buck a foot for cleaning. Sealing is whatever I decide that day, if I'm going to "help" them out it's on sealing(it's easy and some what enjoyable).

I look forward to seeing and using this new hard surface tool at Mikey's Fest. I have been wondering what I was going to do with all the new LVT going into the McMansions in DFW area of Texas. Would also make using the tile spinner less messy with a precision cut in tool. I use to just tip the turbo on edge to get next to the wall.
Any chance we will see a picture if it? I am trying to picture the brush edge. Would be great if I didn't have to buy a separate machine like the dirt dragon to do a basic clean on hardwood. About as much hardwood in Fort Worth area of Texas as tile in Florida.

So, is this a general cleaning tool that you can clean the whole area with or is it a "specialized" tool that you use to do detail work (like a crevice tool)?
