I use a moving blanket when I prespray then fold it a couple times to kneel on while cleaning..

Makes sense. I use a couple of those padded moving blankets and shuffle them around.

Harbor freight has cheap moving blankets. The best part being they are synthetic and wash easy. Hang dry, don't dry them in a dryer or it can damage them.

I'll clean upholstery more than carpets depending on what type it is... The silks and delicates I leave for my mom to do....
