LOL. People are telling me I look younger and happier. I am loving every minute of it all.
Really glad I took a year to catch up here on the board. New Generation? Here? Not sure about that. :-)
Also very glad I was able to get the Butler System. When I slide open the door and show the equipment to interested parties, I always get a Wow!
Next week will be 7 weeks. I have spent lots of time meeting people and handing out cards...a couple thousand so far. Have picked up a new account every week. This is the very worst time of year to start a new business in SW Florida as you know, Snow Birds are all gone...but, I am doing way more than enough to pay the bills and pay for all the tools, that are packed tight into the van so no rattling around. By Fall I may be so busy I need a Helper.

My father was a workaholic I make sure to balance my life. Used to be that workaholic doing this but one day came home to an empty house...............while I was gone the wife packed up everything and left. Shortly both parents died.

Yes I know I get a real beating here but life has prepared me to weather any storm. I enjoy the smack talk among men.
Though not as tough as Bawb I think I can hold my own. I'm stubborn and I am persistent and those are the qualities it takes to do this for as long as I have. When I started there were no cell phones and no internet. I had to learn a whole new set of skills going from an introvert to an extrovert . Being bold to walk into places and boldly ask for the person in charge to get business. I had no fear because I was in control of my life and by golly nobody was going to tell me how to live it. The people I respect are the ones who have walked down the same path as I have. And I can recognize BS when I see it. The best friends are the ones who tell it like it is and will cut you to the bone to tell you the truth.
My wife has had to explain to people that I have this hard exterior but if you look inside I am a very kind man.
