A few questions.. TMT 870 advertised for sale as a SS870 and except for the lime green paint it looks the same.
Are they the same, internals and parts or do they skimp and put lower quality parts?
Who covers warranty issues and servicing? Bring it to J-D, Interlink or do you have to go through The TMT organization?
Is TMT a cleaning franchise?
Why are a lot of their machines in trailers?

Thanks

They're in trailers because the people who buy into this crooked franchise are broke and can't afford a new van with it. It would be $30k higher than the ridiculous price they're already asking

TMT is part of the Turbo Hybrid company.
They sell trailer and full truck packages to the general public who find them through Franchisee magazines.
Roughly 90% of the buyers bail out after they figure out every Tom Dick and Marty carpet cleaner in town is offering the same service for a fraction of what they were told they could charge. Many bail too because it's harder work then they thought, right @Justin Stockwell ??
Lockhart buys and sells those trailers non stop, ask him too..
Almost every TM manufacturer has taken a turn supplying the units, currently it's Sapphire, whom I'm sure don't "Costco" down the quality of the unit.

Pretty much. The problem with paying 97 grand for a box truck setup is that there are only a tiny percentage of cleaners that would want or need it. So when it turns out that you cant get 1.50 per square foot without even having to work. You sell at 50% of what you paid. Honestly TMT doesn't mark up that much. Turbo Hybrids, upholstery tools and rotaries are the same as most suppliers.
The unethical part to me is selling a completely inexperienced and trusting person, two of every possibly tool, just because they have the money or credit. Especially when they believe that they truly pocess an exclusive system. The reality is that most CC trucks have a spinner on board. I don't necessarily think TMT is a bad company. They show you systems to market, and carve out a spot in a crowded market.
