Had a thick nylon wrinkle on me that according to the home owner didnt lift the last time.
Light pre spray, just the wand..

Furniture dragged around since last time? (Doubtful)
House settled?(doubtful)
Weather influence?
What else?

Possible shitty pad.. Not "properly" stretched in with a power stretcher... Never trust someone's memory either...

To Err is human, to blame it on someone else shows management potential...

Hard to figure out without knowing exactly what the last guy did.

How long ago was the "last time"?

Humidity and ventilation compared to last time?

Newer install that had some time to "relax" a little?

She's FOS?

Heat and vacuum.

After cleaning with the Bane for years then switching to the WM I can see how the carpet reacts differently with more heat and vacuum.

Better lockdown stretches the carpet more and the heat helps loosen it.

The carpet wasn't properly stretched during the install and is slowly relaxing?

Or

Temperature and humidity

Furniture moving is my guess. Pushing and sliding it across.

Poly backed carpet will relax and grow over time. You will often see carpet that needs a re-stretch after 5 to 7 years, even if properly installed, and the percentage that will need a re-stretch will also increase as the carpet ages. The initial quality of the carpet plays a part as well.

I've seen this with installations that I know were done correctly. I did them, in my house.

Find an installer to refer and don't worry about it.

Just wanted to let you know the carpet looks better today.

Thanks for the re-assurance. I’m sure it will be back to normal in the next day or so.

When you have an opportunity, can you please share the wooden floor cleaning products we discussed?

Kind regards,

Barbi

The first cleaner used a 2 inch wand with 2.5 inch hose hooked up to it.

i do a large number of repairs and installs. mentioned already was older carpet, carpet that wasnt power stretched the other culprits are restretched without additional tacks being installed, concrete failure (seen plenty of busted slabs with tackless just sitting on top loose) or termite damage.

I've seen it where a carpet was action backed didn't swell 2-3 cleaning then bang it pops.

Maybe there something to it's not installed right?

4-5 years a carpet starts to relax and needs re stretching maybe certain carpets swell in these conditions.
