I re-jetted my 2 inch westpak wand today and used it on a job. 150 ft of 2 inch hose all the way. I could maybe feel some difference from my Mach 12 inch and a halfer when I was doing the upper part of the house but when I pulled off 50 ft to clean the lower portion, the wand was really howling. Temperature was up with lots of steam coming off the wand and I am sure I knocked off a whole hour off the drying time. So instead of maybe taking 8-10 hours to dry, maybe it might dry in 7-9. Was it worth the hassle and lack of maneuverability? I don't think so. Did I mention the man sized back ache at the end of the day. Give me an inch and half any day.

I bought a new wand from Modernistic while I was there Wednesday. A 2 inch knock off 14in head. Used it last two days.

Had to turn pressure up to get any flushing action. The prochem quad runs good at lower pressures 400 to 600 psi. This one needs at least 700.

The strange thing is they are jetted the same but I'm using half the water with the new wand even at higher pressure.

It's a little harder to get the drying I want due to the wider head I assume. Hard to find truly flat surfaces so the PC is better that way. This wand will cut a lot of time in apartments and cut time in one of my restaurants Thursday night. Streaking doesn't seem like it we be such an issue neither.

Same flow?
Take a jet off and look inside, most likely has restriction due to check valves inside

Yeah, something is restricting the flow.

What size line from the valve to the jet manifold ?

Westpak valves are what we normally use on TM wands.

Brass & Stainless should perform fine.

I have been cleaning with the 2" TI wand, 4 #02 jets, and glide.

I have found that alternating back and forth between left and right hand wanding helps to balance the tension in your body. So does alternating back and forth using a 1.5" wand, and a 2" wand, because of the diameter of the 2" and 1.5" tube, your grip will also be different, as in gripping the diameter of the tube.

The other wand technique that I like is not completely lifting the wand head at the end of the backstroke, but rather just tilting it so it breaks vacuum just while you are repositioning it, and is easy to position for the next upstroke.

Lifting (tilting) the wand also allows a rush of vacuum to enter the hose which gives you a lot better dry times as the air is flowing more.

The TI wand is almost lighter than the glided 802.

The 2" is my preference though.

Ordered a new one It's hard to push!

Holed glides easy peasy for old dudes

Did one job today, why is it when I want to lay around and do nothing there's a list?

Slotted glide and 2 inch hose to the Devastator wand...no issues. My carpets are nearly dry when I leave the job. I wouldn't want to clean carpet without the Devastator wand. The swivel saves me so much bending and moving of beds etc. that my back is fine... so far.
Inch and a half for stairs, upholstery and tile.

Put new jets on your Prochem more than likely the jets are worn.
