Hello everybody-

I’m super glad everybody is happy; I’ve included Mike on this email and we owe Mike Paillotet (the Mikey of Mikey’s Board) as well as his industry colleagues who participated today a huge debt of gratitude and thanks. The logistical coordinating here for Roanoke was a challenge given we are 5.5 acres, multi-building, multi-access points plus Cambridge and then the distance of Dobson, both being separate locations, but Mikey’s Board crushed it. Nancy couldn’t be happier.

All the floors systemwide have been given new life. We’ve all been going about cleaning the floors incorrectly for years; we just didn’t know any better because we thought “hey, the water is getting dirty so we are doing good.” Not true. Roanoke has seriously been transformed we need to change the way we clean our floors; the old mop and bucket routine needs to go away but the when and how is the key. I’m confident we don’t have any of the proper tools as Mikey’s Board suggests. So, tools and technique need to change. That being said, I hereby impose a system wide moratorium on mopping because the last thing I want to do is reverse the hard work Mikey’s Board did today. Spot wipe any spills. Use a wet cloth rag (or something) for now until we retool ourselves. Seriously, as counterintuitive as it sounds, don’t mop the floors.

Nate, kindly do the research about the proper tools. Get back to me with places and pricing. Mike will also be getting back to me in the coming days with good info as well about the where’s and what’s then I’ll break out my Ronald AMEX. He and his folks are taking some much-needed R&R tonight and tomorrow.

Any questions, concerns or ideas are always welcome.

Have a good night everybody.

Cheers,

Don't overlook how important this part of your contribution can be. If they'll follow through with your recommendations, it can make a real difference in the long term appearance of that place.

This is also an example of what all should do when given important cleaning opportunities like this one.

Great job all of you!
