So many positives at this event, left me with a very proud poppa feeling. When I hear first timers say how MF effected them with the RMH cleanings, the close nit after show camaraderie and the non sales classes from the new kids on the block, it makes the tremendous effort all worth while.
On the internet where so many of us butt heads over methods and ultimately ego, it's so nice to see all the BS set aside and watch as we all come together to achieve the monumental goal of restoring the RMHouses. Each house took an hour or so to get calmed down and a method set to the madness but as things got cohesive, the smiles started appearing and by the end of each of the three projects, chests were puffing with pride.
Our team leaders and House Moms are to be overly congratulated for making sure each home was spit shined to perfection. I don't want to leave anyone out as there were so many, but you know who you are. THANK YOU so much for taking control and making our industry shine in the public eye.
I would beg of you to support and promote the vendors who stepped up and ultimately funded this event.
The notable stand outs were;
Legend Brands and their amazing army conquering an entire house..
Team Saiger with all their extra above and beyond efforts..
Westpack and Turbo Force with their over the top donation of tools to be used and auctioned off for charity..
Carpet Cleaner America for lugging out CRBs for all to use..
Interlink for mucho man power and equipment and auction prizes
Stone Pro for fixing so many counter tops at the RMH and donating auction prizes..
Butler for bringing out the "Milk Truck" and for sponsoring a pool party..
Zipper for donating the Super Spinner to the Donald Saiger Hardest Worker award andSealADoor and CTI for additional prizes..
Rotovac for donations, man power and helping bring out our standing ovation speaker, Aussie Grant..
Aerotech, Orbot, MasterBlend and Hydramaster for busting ass and bringing out equipment and additional man power..
Devastator Wand's Tom and Missy for being the leaders that they are..
SwedeClean, Service Monster, PureForce, EncapStore.com and Solutions by Steam Pro for great support as well..
and a HUGE thanks must go to Ty Cranmore for all he did to make this whole event happen, AV equipment, food, always being there to lend me a hand in so many ways, rustling up locals to come out, you name it....Bravo!
It's not easy nor cheap putting an event of this size on, my time, the hotel space, food and funding of prizes and getting certain individuals there makes it tough to come out ahead let alone break even. Support of my advertisers and the industry as a whole (read BDCCs) is really what comes out of these events for me. I would encourage those of you who chose not to attend due to petty online differences to put down your virtual swords next year and come on out, I promise, you'll leave a better carpet cleaner and a better human...
