Geez - I called this morning to spend some money, somebody was going to get back to me in a few minutes- and- nothing. Do Canadians scare you or your employees? We're really nice polite people, except for me.
Not to worry, I got taken care of elsewhere with no issues but you may want to tighten that end up. Our peso gets translated to the US greenback, so it couldn't have been that.

Every six months or so, for the last 10 years, cobby has been getting these feed backs.

So far it seems to have left not a single dent, let alone, register. It could be that good all Larry is kind of proud of it.

But look at the positive: At least you didn't reach the stage that you need to call them back to remind them to send the goods :winky:

Three UN-returned calls. One messed order. One fine internet order. And a conversation with one of the most condescending sales people I ever experienced.
What can I say, I'm a slow learner.

You should have went Willy. Ron & Holly were there.
You'd have had a great time! I told myself if Willy shows up I'm buying him a TM!

But you didn't. IDIOT! :winky:

His sales rep Roger was quite accommodating when I was down last week at SFS. I bought a 150ft length of the new parker hose and his UV light, ordered it the week before. Roger delivered it to the store in NE Dallas for me so I didn't have to drive across the city. Brought it home in my suitcase. Border officer was very accommodating too!

This is what I've heard.....
Chavez is so cheap...
- his hearing aid has a solar battery
- he takes off his glasses when he's not looking at anything
- he rides a crowded subway just to get his clothes pressed
- he married a skinny girl so he could buy a smaller ring
- he named himself as beneficiary in his will
- he's still waiting for the Bible to come out in paperback
- he recycles belly button lint
- he won't even tip his hat
- the guest room in his house has a pay smoke alarm
- he's worn his suits so long, they've been in style 4 times

Thor gets up one morning after a wild party and stumbles across a good looking valkyrie, still half drunk. He says, in a mighty voice thinking to impress her, "I'm Thor, god of thunder. She replies, "you think you're Thor, I'm tho Thor, I can hardly pith".

We are still being caught between restorers needing equipment in South Texas,
and vendors not able to deliver the goods.

No excuse for not getting back with you Willy.

I still don't understand why it is so difficult to trade between Canada & the US in both directions.
We have been trying to get Ninja parts from Lou for the last month or so. One barrier after another.

I wanted to see you while you were here !

Anyway, I'm glad you got your stuff & didn't suffer too much at the border.

SFS took up the week. I just missed Roger at your NE store, he was leaving as I was driving in. Probably just as well I didn't make it to your store, I might have bought more and my suitcase was full!
I like the look of that new hose, a real shine to its coating. And your light works 10x better than the one I bought off Amazon. Can't compare it to the one I bought from you in 05 or 06 as that one won't work any more.

His light is actually 43% better with more lumens than the 2005-2006 model...

I have had only one of hundreds of orders screwed up in 30 years of getting stuff from Larry. Better record than many.

Steve;

We tried the 2" to 1.5" tapered vac hose,

but it was of lessor quality than the SuperFlex hose we use,

according to the manufacturer of both ;

so we dropped it.

Cobbs needs to update their businesses technology, integrate it better across their entire operation, and have the employees to operate it efficiently.

Always a dreadful feeling at the thought that the abundantly pleasant order taker seems to be initiating your order and information by writing it down.

That tells me all I need to know.

Such great products should be less painful to acquire.
