Doing all the hallway carpets in a highrise today. Decided to use my Sprayborg since it is all carpet tile. Made $900 before noon then took off to pick up some rugs. I will finish tomorrow for a total of $1800 for aprox 6 hours labour and 2 hours driving time. The Sprayborg is so fast and easy and effective on commercial carpet. I have 3 more similar highrises in the next 2 weeks.

Did 2 hallways for $400 in an hour and half. Got 5 more to do at $200 ea. Had to come home and wait for plumbers.

It's about 5 minutes away at most.
Oh yeah got Bob Evans at 9 another $200. It's a 10 minute drive and takes an hour and 15.

I did a 70 foot carbon fiber, sportfishing yacht. Carpet only...encapped with an oreck XL (hard to pull hoses that far and very narrow "halls"). Two hours $465.
PS boat goes 50 knotts wide open and burns about 230 gph at that speed, crusies at 35 burning 120gph. Cleaning costs are the least of their expenses :-). Holds 2300 gallons plus or minus.

Been cleaning all day again...

Tonight since about 5 pm after replacing the wiper blades on the truck my wife uses the most...and I told her to get new blades on it this Fall while still warm out :hopeless::hopeless::hopeless::dejection:

Why do they do this to me....6 degrees out and now fix stuff...

Plus my phone has been non stop all day as well with questions, situations, stuff.....:errf:

I am going to bed soon so can attack it all again tomorrow.

It is for some reason still busy as heck (good...good...remind myself....good....)

But I hate cold weather a lot!

Ok...will move on to another thread to be the whiner.... :shifty:

Make sure the equipment is safe, have a beer and go to bed. There's always tomorrow and the day after that.

Finished the job today. 27 hallways plus the office and small lobby. 2 hours today. Total job $1740 before taxes. 5 hours labour plus 2 hours driving time. 1 hour prep time in the shop. 4 pads at $5 each. Manager complimented me on a great job and the carpets dried in less than an hour. They have a ton of vinyl and ceramic tile. Have to talk to Willy about that

I just bought one of these for occasional

residential use. I like that it doesn't have the tank pump and other hardware.

I blew out my back today. ..... This seemed like a good place to whine about it.

BTW Mark, I used the P-Lime on a pissy couch yesterday and also on white carpet today. Worked very well.

Used the orbot again today doing highrise hallways. Worked from 9-1, cleaned 19 hallways for $950. Tomorrow, I will finish the other 8 hallways and 2 common area rooms. Using Bridgepoints o2 encap. White polishing pads. I would really like to use the fiber plus pads but have no local distributor. This is too easy compared to hwe. I think if someone wanted to start a good business with low overhead, you could buy an orbot and a cimex and target commercial carpet only. Easier on the body and the pocketbook. I have 2 more highrises coming up next week.

I cleaned two 3 story apartment hallways in white out conditions today. $200 each bout hour and a half total with powermax and Cobb's emulsifier can't remember the name.

Had 7 to do and a one bedroom apartment for $200.

Last guy was vlm er, his work sucked. I'm more than twice his price.

Last day using the orbot for a while. We cleaned these twin tower buildings with all there amenity, billiards, theatre and party rooms. Average time on job is 4 hours a day, average day is $1000. A few more hallways this afternoon then I'm done. Couple of things they could do to improve the Sprayborg. 1-have a prespray wand with a 25 ft coiled hose for areas you can't reach. 2-have a space for a telescopic scrub broom for the same reason. Enables you to get into corners and do touch ups. 3-ditch the solid metal jug retaining band and replace with an adjustable one which will let you use up to a 5 gallon jug. Other than that, it's a great machine.

BUT! did you vacuum the areas first? THAT is really the only cleaning done in the process. Removes 75% of the dry soil load. Otherwise you are just smearing in the dirt.

All areas were vacuumed the day before I do the cleaning by the on site staff. You are absolutely right Jimmy. The majority of the soil load is removed by vacuuming. The encap solution and scrub pad dissolve and wipe the non particulate soil from the fibres and as the solution dries, it crystalizes and traps that soil. Pixie dust? Maybe but seems to work. The carpets look nice, smell nice and there's no buckling like the last time I hwe'd them.

BUT! that O2 juice you are using has no scent..................and it's a FILM FORMER which means it is very reluctant to release from the fiber. It's not a crystal!
