Fresh water tank issues

I was cleaning today using my fresh water tank when I noticed a drop in pressure at my wand...so I go to my truck thinking my water ran out but noticed I still had half a tank...so this caused some concern thinking I’m having pump issues. When I took the lid of my tank it showed about an inch of water in the tank but my truck leaned one way shifting water level to seem higher from my point of view. So my question is do fresh water pumps slow down when water level is low? This is first time ever using water from a fresh water tank.

sometimes the fresh water transfer pump can over heat and stop pumping. I think you need a new transfer pump.
Or you can do like I did.
we don't use or run any chemical through our pumping system. all cleaning agents are run through our hydroforce.
this makes the "mixing tank unnecessary".
you can run your plumbing straight from the holding tanks to the cat pump.
this makes the following items unnecessary: the mixing tank, the chemical pump and injection system, the transfer pump, the mixing tank float switch and in the end greatly simplifies your life.

Your pump isn't working. It reached its own level by gravity and needs the pump to push it up the hill. It may need a new pump or rebuilt. If it is the pressure vessel bladder system it maybe ruptured.

Do you hear it running? If not check for a fuse or lose wire.

I always wondered why everybody uses a transfer pump. My White Magic Commander has been sucking water from the belly mounted fresh water tank for 14 years without one. I just have to keep a loop in the hose to the pump so it doesn't loose prime. A pump rebuild would fix that.

Wouldn't it be easier to have a last step chemical injection pump?

That how the vortex is set up-- but I don't use it.
we prefer not to run any chemical through our system.
we also mix our prespray at about half of what the directions call for.. Our 360i bh system relies more on agitation then chemical reaction.

I use a variety of extraction detergents through my system. From acids to alkalines. Haven't had any problems with it. Probably because of our soft water. I also use a lot less than recommended by manufacturers. My understanding of last step pumps is that chemical is injected down stream of heat exchangers.

Ya add water my fresh water tank will have a little left and stop pumping.

Need to go direct at that point or fill your fresh water tank up.

It happens don’t buy anything until you add water and check it.

Just don't tear into the pump until you are sure that's the problem. Sometimes it's a faulty unloader. Much easier problem to fix.
