Breaker tripped in my trailer last night while I was out of town. My Wife called and said she noticed her Christmas lights stopped working. It's never been an issue but I think the Christmas lights were the straw that broke the camel's back. -5°F. Lesson learned! Use 2 outlets on different Breaker! Trailer got down to 20° before my wife caught it. Hopefully nothing froze. If something did freeze stay tuned for my future thread on installing Little Giant heater because of frozen heat exchangers. "Stupid is as stupid does," I guess!

Local budget cleaner here shuts down all winter because he wouldn't be able to make the $1000 it would take to fix his HX.

Remember the days when my van sat outside during the winter and ran two ceramic heaters. Even then I froze a heat exchanger because of air leakage by the double doors.

Years ago I was having a phone conversation with the President of the NEiRC at the time

He was outside in freezing New England weather winterizing his machine. He does it each night after he uses it during the winter .

He felt using heaters was too expensive.

He tried to consolidate his work to as few days a possible so he didn't have to do it everyday.

Had to bring in all Chemicals and tools to prevent freezing.

I made several suggestions, such as talking with local businesses and bartering storage fees. Getting more work to supplement the expense.

It was right then that I realized I would NEVER join an organization that would make a broke Dick idiot theit leader

At first I too pursued a IICRC patch. After sitting in a class and seeing a man bring his 10 year old son to take the course and test I just knew I had to spend several more years being a retard grocery bagger. I just wasn't ready.

Man, fumbling through the back of my Butlers , pulling crap in and out to get to the rear tool caused me to consider purchasing an extended van or box truck many times

Then I thought of the NEiRC goober and snapped out of it
