Tried for two and half years to have an employee.
Well paid. Tried both men & women, Caucasian, Hispanic, African American, young, old, you name it. No animals or inanimate objects though.

With all the energy that goes into training, the fact that till they're well trained it considerably slows me down , not to mention that I find training to be exhausting. Finally gave up. Decided to listen to what the universe was telling me :winky: Thought it was just a Bay Area problem.

If you do find a good one, it's a blessing. May be a little easier once you have a slightly larger operation and not an O/O

I had good ones and they were well paid, trained and happy.

Then Trump was inaugurated and jobs started appearing. They all bailed because they could make steadier, better money. Me, I’m gonna change the company name to “Old Man & A Mop.”

Agreed. Probably the hardest thing in business is the first employee. If you want to expand, it's a hurdle you have to get over. The next employee is easier until you get to about six, and then you need to reorganize to make room for a manager/trainer.
