Get that website up #1

Great advice.I wish I would have listened to all the gurus saying to get a website when I first started my business. I blew through $30,000 in advertising the first 3 years. With my website I get all the work I can handle for $13 a month.

Once the little google crawlers find your web page and you start ranking in the SEO searches, life becomes much easier. I’m sure @anon could offer a few tips.

Nice websites are not cheap, but they are worth every penny. I worked out a barter for mine. A customer who does web design offered to design a new site to replace my old cheesy one. I clean their carpet a few times a year and they keep my website making money.

This is blender software that i have been usinng to make my cartoon video. Unity is the software that i was using to make a game out of it before postponing to make a video instead...i figured if i was gonna make money off it, video would be better exposure to audience first.

Did you seriously just post links to software? SMH. This is not going to go well.

Really Vegan? Should be easy to find vegans where you live in the land of fruits and nuts...

Carpet and tile cleaning is up 30% and 2016 was up 20 %. Getting the WM really boosted my confidence and quality.
I can only imagine what getting a newer butler will do for business. An employee may be a must this year since the last two years almost killed me and I had some help. Not much but some.

The clean team is up 30% too. Together we went from just over $100000 to $138000 plus once we get paid for everything so really over 30% .

Growing by leaps and bounds finally after years of just getting by.

Yeah, but the Vegans here are rather militant and extreme. My vegetarian friend claimed he had difficulty finding a group that wasnt. Lol.
Mikey has recommended a great book by a great chef. I know how to cook a steak but not how to cook vegetables in a manner that will keep me entertained. Im Looking forward to eating healthier.

What Chew Talkin' Bout Willis? For Real? That sucks Big Time... How do they decide what days you can or can't grill?

# 1 - Sell more Protector - for years I hardly ever mentioned protector. Last year I committed to only applying Cobb's Ultra Seal Solvent protector and sold a ton of protector - More in 1 year then the last 10 years total. This year - every job is going to know that protector will benefit them. I'm 4/4 so far this year adding protector.

# 2 - Hire a Full time Tech to work beside me and cover me when I NEED to go Play. (2017 I went solo, my equipment and services shine with a 2 man team)

# 3 - Go Play more - Every month take at least a 4 day weekend and go to the Mountains, Desert, or Vacation with the Wife. Golf once a week. I've spent too many years working way too much - Work hard and Play hard. (My Tech will also get a 4 day weekend once a month)

# 4 - Keep Learning and improving - I took Jim's upholstery class last year and the Stone Pro class the year before. This year I'd like to take Lisa's Rug class that Jim is involved with. (my biggest mistake was thinking I knew everything just because I had all the iicrc certifications and the biggest truck on the planet)

# 5 - Charge what I am worth and make the kind of money I deserve. For years I haven't charged enough for my services.

# 6 - Expand on my retirement efforts.

# 7 - Sell more FPA

# 8 - Get a physical - haven't seen a Doctor in 20 years - Eat better and lift some weights a few times a week. I'm loosing my muscles in my 40's.

# 9 - Oh yeah, my 18 year old son is going to race the full season of Motocross this year. Freaks me out!!! We never let the poor kid race Motocross just pedal bikes "BMX", he was a badass. Now he gets to do what he wants, he just spent 2 years of savings on a brand new bike and is riding every week and hitting the gym. This will really change some of my commitments on weekends. I might have to re-write my "play more goals".
