I've got one like that I need to clean today. My son is trying to save money for a Nintendo Switch so I told him we would go do it on Saturday (Today). Red everywhere. I'm going to soak it with Code Red and then heat transfer all the red stains. Smells like Haiti in there as well.

I secretly love every second of it.
Do your seriously prespray BEFORE you treat the red stains?

Some come out with just general cleaning. Some come out when treated with the juice then hit with wand’s stream, then some need to be post treated with a heat transfer. Really Marty, I don’t have time to teach you all this.

I got a pair of color vision glasses from my daughter for my birthday. Maybe now I can see them after cleaning if any remain.

We laugh about the time I thought I was done with a job and she asked me right in front of the customer if I was going to get that red stain out and i said what stain!

Did you video your reaction to seeing colors for the first time? I love those vids.

Yes but i see color just not light shades of oink and green especially on brown or tan carpet.

I looked at some pictures of our living room when we bought it. Pink walls carpet and curtains. I couldn't see the pink in the walls or carpet thought it was reflection from drapes but with the glasses on it popped right out.

I'll keep them in the van and I'm sure they will get used a lot.

That is so cool. We live in great times. @Mark Saiger has a color blind tech. I think this would be a great gift for a deserving tech.

Then there was the time I pointed out a girl in white shorts and my helper said they were pink.

I remember as a kid my parents always asking me about colors I always got wrong. Usually light green looks grey. Our counter looks yellow to me but it's a real light green. Once in awhile I can see it when the light is right.

For empty houses and debris removal:

https://m.harborfreight.com/aluminum-scoop-shovel-with-d-handle-69824.html

Kevlar gloves (inside disposeable latex gloves) to avoid broken glass and spiders.
I don’t mind the work, but to vacuum I use the backpack without a beater bar.

It seems that homes like this are evidence that life just sort of crept up on someone and they lost that self respect to keep the home clean.
The one that still stands out was a woman whose home just reeked of urine and had dried cat diarrhea on everything; bed, phone, tables, carpet. In conversation I learned that she had been caring for her sister, then her mother, both of whom got cancer and died. Life just swamped this woman. As I cleaned the carpet, she began to conquer her own countertop and when the day was over said “I feel like you’ve given me my home back!”

or they're just lazy white trash
I can relate (Bob's seen my pole barn) :eekk::icon_redface::icon_redface::icon_redface::icon_redface:

and Ms Joni only allows me one room I can occupy in our home (that's my office/den)
and that's only because I'm incorrigible and she gave up trying to keep it straight...and was forced to allow me to drown in my own waller

If the door happens to be open, I hear a pitiful and mournful sigh every time she walks down the hall ...and closes the door

BTW, that HF shovel is a jinky POS
Bought one for spreading mulch ...
light duty POS D-handle broke off the two weenie rivets and the scoop is about as thick Reynolds Wrap ..easily flexes and bends out of shape
JUNK

I bought a pooper scooper for my dogs on amazon.

Stamped metal to hold metal handle on.

Broke after two loads of crap!

I drilled out the presses metal and put 4 big rivets.

Now I can scoop five pounds of big dog dukey at a time.
