For me it was this hanging rope bridge in the Amazon rainforest. Don't worry, I used a neutral cleaner on the wood boards.

A customer's home who claimed to be chemically sensitive. When explaining her issues, she asked with a worried voice, "You don't think I'm crazy do you?"
she turned out to be crazy!
I never missed a "red flag" warning after this. :eekk: :dejection::oldrolleyes: :lol:

Cleaned the state correction facility for young women. Later became the state training center for correctional officers and SWAT teams. I am not sure which was more dangerous.

Two homes of drug dealers which I became aware of while cleaning. There were probably others.

I don’t know if it was actually the most dangerous but this duplex made me feel the most uncomfortable

Did two water jobs there before construction was complete. Both times someone stole the plumbing and it had to be gutted. We always kept someone posted at the truck while there.

Yard littered with condoms and drug paraphernalia and full on crackheads always hanging around........

An apartment in a certifiably crappy neighborhood. ... Where the undercover officer outside on the street told us -carefully not raise suspicion - that if we notice anything weird or any blood or drugs etc, look for a white car down the street and one of us run and tell them . They'll be raiding the home immediately because they'd been watching it.
Best part is they obviously were listening to their phones because they UCO already knew we were coming.

Another one was a drug dealer's den....where he walked around with his pistol in his pants (not even holstered just stuck in his waist).
It was a water damage job and when I had to leave the job one day, and decided to talk to my friend who I worked with, in fluent hungarian (he speaks as well)... The dealers were in the other room at that point... O m g....that threw off the drug dealers so bad that they jumped around peeking through the windows thinking that we were some sort of cops and were using the language to give directions to outside agents.

I couldn't wait to get outta there...hate dealing with lowlife scumbags.

Hans and Gretel ( I kid you not!)

He lived in the house with the German Shepard attack dog and small Lapso ...She live in a trailer house on the property....

Terrible situation...he would put something of hers on the dump trailer and take something of his back in the house...She would toss something of his...take back something of hers...

Found the missing cat...been missing 5 years :dejection: (ps....dead)

Absolute miserable job...difficult to collect payment in the end...

Worst moment for me...When he would announce..... in his German Voice..."Ok Everybody...I am letting the dog out now"! :eekk::eekk::eekk::eekk::eekk::eekk::eekk::eekk:

The doors would slam....everyone in the crew Hiding.....

AND I WAS OUTSIDE IN THE TRAILER GETTING SOMETHING! :eekk::eekk::eekk::eekk:

I slammed the side door shut for safety....NOPE!!!

The Guys had left the back door down!!!!:eekk::eekk::eekk::eekk::eekk::eekk::dejection::dejection::dejection::eekk::eekk::eekk:

Holy Sh**T!

I grabbed the 45 gallon plastic ACE Hardware Trash can to keep between me and the Salivating Psycho German Shepard (I Still have the Trash Can by the way all torn up!)

Hans Grabs the dog and puts them both in one of his abandoned 4 Volkswagen Rabbits on the property...:oldrolleyes::oldrolleyes::oldrolleyes::oldrolleyes:

They Proceeded to tear the upholstery to shreds....I was in the state of "I'm Gonna Die!":shifty::shifty::shifty::shifty:

Another time went to collect....the van got stuck in the drive...a whole entire new story of waiting for the wrecker for 1.5 hours away...my wife waiting in the van and thinking I had been chopped up and put in the freezer...

This place was a nightmare...and every time we pass his place and see him I get my brother on the phone and yell...

AHHhhhhhh.....HANS!!!!! :eekk::eekk::eekk::eekk::eekk::eekk:

(I hated my brother Dave for getting me into that job!)

Duct Cleaning in the hood after a fire damage, really old house with large circular duct work. The house was in what they call "central city" of Toledo because most people won't go there including delivery drivers and some police. We pull up and knock on the door and this little ol' black lady answers the door. Looks me and my assistant up and down and says, "Holy shit! They sent two little crackers out here. Boyyyyy these n*ggas crazy out here, they keel you." All I can say is, yes ma'am I understand we're just here to get your fire damage wrapped up and taken care of.

Drugs and guns all over the place, a lot of full auto weapons, a lot of weed and coke. We get done, and the son Jamal comes up and is like "uhhh hey man, I think you missed a vent upstairs". So I'm thinking the worst and we get up there and he points to the vent. I notice out the window that the cops are across the street and there looks to be some white powder in the vent. So I just blew it downward since it was a straight shot to the AFD from that run. Asked him if that was good, he said yup and gave me a fist bump. I went back to the basement and starting got all of our stuff put away and patched the duct work up.

Ol' Jamal meets me at the top of the stairs and asks if I'm heading outside. Said, yes sir we're getting things packed up. He grabs a gun off the top of the fridge, stuffs it in his pants, and follows us out and stands on the porch. I make the assistant stand at the trailer to watch it and Jamal says, don't worry I'm watching, it is getting dark and you boys will want to be getting your white asses out of here. I nodded and we got everything out in one more trip. At the end I shook his hand and miraculously did this bro handshake with him and never missed a beat. He says, you had some black friends growing up huh? I says yep, sure did. He says, I can tell! All that ish inside didn't phase you one bit and you was real cool about it. Said, I'm just here to do my job and move on to the next one. Everything else was just a distraction.

Then we finally got to the van and left and that's where I nearly shat my pants.

Not the most dangerous but scary as hell.

Cleaned a Funeral Home - was the only one there - on Halloween night. Talk about the creeps. Was there until 11pm

I used a skipper ball with multiple whips on it to disguise the fact at some points I was shaking like a tree. Think I was 20 at the time.

Okay that wasn't why I used it, mainly because the duct work was so big and wide and we had to use the brushes too. But took me about 45 minutes to calm down.

LOL That was awesome! Two little crackers.

rental house for a pretty old little chinese man, in the ghetto a long time ago. House had 5 Samoan gang members living in it... these dudes were scary but mostly cool to us

about 2500lbs of oily bare sweaty feet walking on that carpet, one of them picked up the love seat and held it while we cleaned underneath. Scary part was they were obviously selling drugs and they kept getting paranoid about certain cars driving by who werent police but rival gang members I think.

Place had been shot at before and I felt like another drive by could happen any moment while we were there. Super sketchy

worst call was about 12 years ago... super white trash dude sitting on the couch drinking a beer in his filthy dirty wife beater... surrounded by at least 60 dog turds all over the carpet, house smelled like savage urine so bad it burned my nostrils.

he said "heres the carpet, now clean it!" all aggressive like because he saw the look on our face, he was literally living in a shit pile. Then I looked around the corner and this poor little girl was playing with her toys on the floor.

Told him well be right back walked out to the truck and called CPS from the driveway! eat that you f*ing white trash POS lol

I was rolling office chairs out on the front sidewalk of a school a block from the ghetto and a lady walked up and said "You're not going to clean those out here are you? The school is on lock down because of a shooting. The shooter is still on the loose."

Too too many to name. Prisons, jails. Got slung off an elevator with my mop bucket by an old lady in a senior tower in wrong side of town. We took care
of all senior towers for City of OKC., in all parts of the city. Fair housing allowed all types in those facilities. Bad, bad!!! We were 3 blocks from the Murrah building when the bomb went off.
