Removing carpet crush on wool WW with jute backing

I was hired to remove this wrinkle line by a flooring store. My plan was to use my Wagner wall paper steamer. Does anyone see a problem with this method?

Should I be using my spotter machine to dry as fast as possible? And a snail fan?

Just a fan, it shouldnt be that wet..

Steam and press...

Just steam it. The jute will shrink as you do it. No fan needed.

Also from the pic how far in the room is this. Could it be a seam profiling?

wall to wall wool isn't an overly difficult or delicate carpet

your steamer may or may not provide enough heat to get the backing to relax though, I'd try and put it under tension with power stretcher while I did it

It wasn’t on a seam. It was just a few feet into the room. I used my Wagner 705, and left it down for 20-30 seconds at a time. It turned out great.

good stuff, dont be afraid of wool just use appropriate chemistry and dry stroke slightly slower
