I feel the same way. When I got home from MF Vegas my business dropped. It was dead. Now I'm working 7 days a week just to keep up. I admit it, I’m worn out.

Back at it tomorrow.

You deserve to be super busy. What’s the chance of finding another tech to get you off the van completely?

With it this busy right now, it is all hands on deck...but there have been many days I can take time off.

I am running to Denver next week for Saiger's Sauce business, so will be down a van for couple days....

But work is work....get it while you can...and I do enjoy it....

Does it ever make the days go by though....even my retired guy says the same thing....

I remember all the “smart” guys who host our business advice classes, that say ALWAYS have someone on the sidelines waiting to jump in the van.

Are you implying that little nugget of advice?

I think having someone in mind and kind of on standby if available is great.

Finding that right person can take time...even hiring a new guy can take time....but when you find them....it is really nice to have them with you.

We are busy, but really enjoying my crew right now.

Just good vibes going on....

Our new guy Zach even volunteered his Saturday to come in and help on a job...well....we paid him of course and actually pay our guys extra for after hours not just time and a half...but give them extra hours for coming in at inconvenient times.

He came in for 2.5 hours and we paid him for 5 hours (plus any overtime)

We value our people and try to let them know how much they are appreciated.

Ugh. I’m cleaning this vacant and a realtor shows up all pissed at me and says shes doing an open house. Oh well. You’re just going to have to wait till I’m done Happy Sunday.

Have you thought about adding another unit? You could put a slide-in in a trailer for Peak season. Pull it with your Jeep or Pickup. It would also be a great backup or even use as a rental to other cleaners in the area.

A Rage, 370 or Legend wouldn't break the bank, trailers are pretty cheap too. You'd make enough extra to pay for the expense. You could winterize it and leave it out or unbolt and garage it. Or better yet haul it down to Florida and make a little side money when down there.

It would help cut through your work load. No hose holders, just another wand moving across the carpet.
