I do all tm work and easy stuff on the van. Any van repair I go to the mechanic now.
I just installed a new waste tank, blower and new engine on the tm.
Tell Davis it’s time to take another step up towards being a business owner.

Don't really understand that they won't do it. Create a maintenance schedule and make them follow it.

Here this might help too for day to day stuff.

I just changed the oil in my tm and truck yesterday, and cleaned out my filters.

Major repairs: I have a friend up the road who has the experience of working on truckmounts, tractors, heavy machinery, and has his own welding shop. If anything is out of his norm (accidental freeze) or he's too busy, I'm on the road 1.5hrs away to a truckmount mechanic in Atlanta

We do all our own maintenance, but there are still times I am the one out making sure things are getting done.

I know that doesn't help you out Mikey with location, but Davis might have to be the one that looks this over more.

It does kind of suck though as guys not taking care of things as you would like....

Butler has a log we have to fill out for warranty....at least most of the time, they are cleaning filters (everyday disposable) and weekly or more other filters.

Always checking fluids on the Butler at least weekly.

Sorry to hear the guy is moving on, but I know it will be a new game plan for you and hopefully someone will step up to take care of things

I do all the basic maintenance and minor repairs. I have a good mechanic shop up the road from me for van mechanics and a small engine mechanic for the cleaning unit.
I do most of it, too, have a good mechanic to do stuff I can't or won't do. But, I am off the truck and have the time.

I do all of the machine maintenance, modifications, and repairs.

I have 3 certified mechanics for any van repairs.

Local shops for maintenance but I do some things myself too. I don't do oil changes and use a couple places for that. I have a good brake and muffler shop a place for other things they don't do like engine work.

The machine I do most myself now but drive 3 hours each way on occasion for some things.

I can spin a wrench .
Learned TMs and did my own by necessity the first starving years .
from then on, it wasn't worth the PITA to take it to a shop for maintenance or for repairs since I have tools and ability to pull and put back in TM for any major repairs

when I had techs, they were responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the equipment and van, stocking etc.

However I did all the weekly and monthly maintenance. Equipment is too expensive to let to the techs. I expected them to be cleaners, not mechanics. But then again, I only ran three TMs. It wasn't that hard.

All annual maintenance was done by Jon Don
