It's not awful...but in the same neighborhood. I don't like the font. Your name isn't very prominent. In general very generic.

If you are going to do it then I'd look at other cleaning ads and mimic the best ones.

that is what I am doing. Im trying not to be a rip off of some body work. I am using my closest competitor coupon style in a somewhat similar fashion. I figure it works for them really well. I just need more jobs..

It has to be his pricing, marketing frequency or reputation that is getting him work. It certainly isn't his coupon style. Pick someone that has something better to copy.

The only thing your ad says is the price. Your potential customers are going to look for the lowest price. If you're not it, tough titty.

I thought thats how it works. Any suggestions?

DAT, why do you want to attract price conscience customers?

there will always be someone cheaper the next time they need a cleaner.

Coupon clippers by the by and large don't become life long loyal clients.

Why do you think the guy you are imitating advertises non stop?

You might want something that strikes an emotion, not just pricing. Remember, most of your customers will be women. It needs some feeling, something warm and fuzzy. Tell them why they should have their carpets cleaned.

Coupons and ads are cool and all. But one thing when I look at your Facebook, your other ads, and brand is there isn't a lot of consistency there between everything. Different colors, different fonts, and things like that. Half the time I can't remember a store's name off the top of my head but if I see the outline or even shadowing of their logo I can remember it then.

More than half the people you do work for aren't going to remember your business name but if they see it consistently multiple times they will. Create it yourself or pay someone else to create a branding package for you and then stay consistent with it in all of your marketing. Same colors, same fonts - everything.

I promise it isn't a dig at you or to make fun, a lot of people make that mistake. Your branding is a large part of your success in creating a name for yourself within your service area. Starting with your brand will help you develop a clear direction on what you want your message to be so you're not completely dependent on price alone to differentiate you from your competition.

You may have to be valpak-ish if you're just starting out, everyone here did the same thing until they could be a database and re-market to it and build up retention. Create your brand with 6 month, 1 year, 3 years, and 5 year goals in mind.

my 2cents your logo needs to dominate, so even if they dont buy this time they know your logo (planting the seed). You drive past they recognise the logo and buy.. if it works let me know i'll implement it 😉
