Was using JonDon Matrix all these years thinking it was the cats meow. WRONG. Just has floral fragrance. That’s it. Suds like crazy. No ph on the bottle. Son-na-ma-gun.

Sounds like Fab Set is what you're looking for.

Are you looking for a "cleaning rinse" for synthetic carpet?

If so, it doesn't have to be very acidic. Something mildly acid or neutral will work just fine. Most of this family of products also contain detergent so they are more of a mild acid/neutral cleaner than a neutralizing rinse. That may be why the product you've used foams.

If you want something that serves neutralizing rinse for natural fiber upholstery, rugs, and carpet, then a true acid rinse is better. Bridgepoint FabSet and Prochem All Fiber Rinse are what most of my customers use for that purpose, and what I use in the Fabric Pro workshop.

I've had cleaners brown out white natural fibers and bleed unstable colors with the "near neutral products". That doesn't make them bad products, to be clear. They are made to clean, not to prevent browning or dye bleeding.

Thank you Jim for the explanation. Much appreciated. Didn’t mean to trash Jon Don if that’s the what it sounded like. They have been very useful over the years. In fact, made a lot of friends over the years at the workshops and enjoyed many workshops, learned a bit. Customer Appreciation burgers and hotdogs with fillers (best of the worst) were on time as well.

Matrix ALL Fiber Rinse was Always foamy and sticky residue after using it. Although the floral fragrance was good.

A rinse for both urine jobs and neutralizer for cleaning carpets and a rinse for natural fibers and/or mixed fibers is the aim.

Fab-Set if you want an acid-side rinse with no detergent included.

Flex Ice for an acid-side rinse that includes some cleaning power and detergent.

I use End Zone as my daily, and FabSet when I’m running a high PH prespray. Neither one has let me down yet..... I tried Flex Ice when it first came out, and had issues with white particles/crystals clogging up my system. I gave up on it, and went back to the other 2. I’m tempted to try Flex Ice again....

Flex Ice is a stronger acid than End Zone, also a stronger cleaner. A number of users with hard water or who had accumulated residue in their system had issues with Flex Ice. If you use moderate to soft water, the Flex Ice should not cause any issues that affect the performance of your system. If you are using hard water, probably better to stay with End Zone or get a water softener.
