But on a serious note Chandler, can I get an example or three of what's eating at you?

I think the bulk of us here on TWGCCF are far too use to dealing with phonies.

So good that most move on rather quickly.

  1. Everybody is a success and no one is struggling to find their way.
  2. They rather compete online with you than ask for help.
  3. So called online gurus just recycle the same old info over and over to the new crop of phonies that come around every 3-6 months.
  4. Rarely see growth. Most think cause they make more money cleaning than working in a factory they’re growing.
This is just a few that I can think of before I go to the gym this morning.
Oh oh oh this one doesn’t get me upset but it’s just plain ole rude!
5. Stealing your quote, wording, language, concepts, ideas etc..... then putting it out there as their own. Smh😳

I wondered how long you and Courtney were going to be ok training your own (local) competition.

In my two areas I have three online cleaners in Scruz to benefit from my sharing and maybe two in NV.

You must have hundreds by now seeing how ATL is the #1 city for our industry

I don't do faqbook nor any other social media sites .
Just a board addict going back to the ICS and Cleanfax days

it's not hard to peg the baloney slicers

it breaks down like this
50% are FOS and don't know it
40% are FOS and DO know it
10% have enough sense to figure out how to pour water out of boot
(WITHOUT instructions on the sole)

Most in the biz are self employed workers.
Very few are MBA "business" people

If the self employed type is worth a chit, (meaning they show up and people generally like and trust them) they'll see double digit growth for years til they reach the capacity they're willing/able to handle.
Then cruise control because that's what they choose

Nothing wrong with that AS LONG AS they're aware there is no "real business" to sell when they're ready to hang up the wand
...and need to plan retirement accordingly

I am very successful but that is not because of money, it is because i am happy doing the kind of work I do, that provides for my family.

I am a janitor.
I manage janitors for a living. You need someone to tell you what to do, call me. I'll tell you where you're slacking off and that you need to pickup the pace...fooker! 😁

They have these dining room chairs thare the biggest nightmare to clean. Worse fabric I've ever dealt with. When wet all sorts of old stains, scratches and weirdness shows up. Only my BVDs looked worse..
I clean for the India consulate that has nightmare dining chairs. They’re silk and bleed😡

Anyone on here thats been around longer than Mikey, you can pretty much assume is doing alright. I've never really worked at building my business bigger. I've always been happy where I'm at and doing just fine.

I think it all depends on what your goals are. If you want to expand and grow your business but haven't over the years you've been in business, maybe you're not a good businessman. Some of us just like what we do and have no desire to grow out of that and that's ok. I am in the latter group and as I get older, I understand that I can't do this forever on my own. Whether or not I can change things before it's too late remains to be seen. I'm happy where I'm at but know I can do better. It involves getting off my ass and doing it.
