I have had many Truckmounts that had no issues...to new ones showing up with a few minor issues but always taken care of.

Sometimes the TM makers are at the mercy of distributors and suppliers to them too....

My newer GMC....has been the mercy of the local dealership service (or lack of)

I had one issue with the rage. Something wasn't done right with the fuel tap and at 40 hours it wouldn't stay running. The local shop got on the phone with Sapphire and they had it fixed in about 20 min.
My legend had 193 hours on it when I got the van and machine. It was installed by a competent shop but I dont know of any issues before I got it. It hasn't given me any troubles.

My 870 had an RTD sensor go out at about 300 hours. Other than the floats wearing out and a few brass repairs, it's been a solid machine. I'm very happy. I do expect some issues. Anything mechanical will wear out. I take care of my machine. Always checking oil levels and keeping her warm at night :) Currently at over 2100 hours.

Deep Steam Portables--never an issue
JK Sales 20 hp #2 blower TM, Hotsy pressure washer (LOL!)--a garage unit. lotsa maintenance, but way better than a portable.
Prochem 150--a nightmare but I learned a lot about our equipment (and people).
Ballweber PTO--#5blower, a 2 wand beast but many pump problems and aluminum waste tank which rotted--maybe my fault.
Prochem Bruin--pretty nice 1 wand unit, lotsa heat and suction, not too many issues.
Butlers--solid and reliable for many years--our go-to unit these days but you do have crappy GMC to deal with.

All of these machines would have been much better with today's glided wands!

Two very small issues with my Titan. Valve cover gasket got too hot on a 10hr job in the middle of a parking lot in August. Caused a small oil leak

And the shaft seal on the blower had a small oil leak as well. Replaced both and no problems since then.

My TCS had a leaky blower. Whoever installed the drain plug at Sutorbilt stripped the threads on the blower. I don't even want to think about the White Magic nightmare.

My power clean didn't like belts.
The Sapphires exhaust came apart shortly after getting it. I've collected maybe a half dozen different bolts from under my machine but have never found where they came from.

Exhaust headers burned in half, cheap car mufflers kept getting louder and I had no access to replace the stupid things without pulling the entire tm out of the trailer, water lines were made for hydraulic oil not water, which made the water constantly cause rust and corrosion, which clogged up the dema valve and filters which in turn caused the water to overheat. I had to rebuild the water pump twice for some reason that I never found. Picture all those things happening about once a month each time in the 6 months that I owned it

My Everest had the wrong o2 sensor. That and I wrapped the small wiring harness that’s 1” away from the manifold 🙄 with heat tape. No real operating issues though. A real performer.

All three that I've bought new have had issues, my CDs would eat serpentine belts on the van every couple hundred hours, my pro 1200s threw pulleys off the front of the engine when new, one at 30 hours, but sapphire seemed to get that under control
