That looks so tempting. Of course in Canada, add another 35%.

Thats a big payment to me...

Lol, it ain't cheap. At the same time half the cost is the new van.

Don't forget it's a lease, 60 x 869$ is 52140$

Butler says van and equipment total is 62k. To actually own the set up, more than likely will have a 10-15k buyout at the end.

I'd imagine insurance on a 65k truck isn't cheap either.

Yes, means nothing without knowing buyout $$. Probably more like 30K.

Things to consider though, repairs and maintenance on an older vehicle aren't cheap, same as repairs on an old cleaning unit. New van probably gets better fuel economy than an older van. If your business is solid and you have good credit, you should be able to afford it. Don't forget, you can write off the lease against your income. Turn the van back to Butler when the lease is done and get a new one again.

It would cost a bunch to drive it coast to coast.
You don't just drive it coast to coast. I and my wife made a happening with that.
We drove from Mas to CA. Stopped in Cleveland, lake Eerie, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons the Bad lands and more.
By the time we booked there were no more accommodations available in Yellow Stone, so we got a mattress in the back of the van and camped there.

It was just awesome. Hell, it makes me want to sell this one so that we can do it again.

Sounds like a butler has plenty of room in the back!

That was before any shelving. Mid mount.Extended van. Just fit a queen size mattress bending at the edges.

Though your point was well made Jerry. Hey folks, with no shelving there's plenty of room in a Butler. Keep it lean :winky:

If it was a CDS, we could have played tennis.

Gm vans are essentially reliable. Yes there are glitches here and there but they are usually minor. Engine and drivetrain are solid. Probably the weak spot in any pto system is the computerized throttle advance.

How would you rate a Cleanco vs a Butler?
Essentially, the same unit. The butler is an updated version of the old cleanco classic. Butler seems to have refined it to a fine art. The cleanco compact seems to be as reliable and can be purchased with the large cfm and added heat package. Probably cheaper than the butler. Lots of cleanco here, they seem to run forever. I don't think cleanco has the large capacity tanks like the butler but I could be wrong. Butler seems to have more options. Ps. The biggest difference is the installation. Butler is done in one location, cleanco can be done by any Tom, dick or Harry.

If any Tom, Mikey or Harry is you Distributor, then you can request a Cleanco rep to supervise the install.

Butlers get a few degrees hotter and they can obtain more psi for tile.
