That was the 2nd load, I am working on a PVC model all done in house.
The SS Dev is still going to be available but because of delays on getting them made, I am going to be offering another filter for guys that don't want to wait.

My pvc filter was just as good
I only gave it to Jim Martin because he was running a V at the time.

I'd opt for the PVC model if the price was lower. Sometimes plastic may look cheap, but it works just as well in some situations.

I have had them both. My PVC one tipped over and cracked and at that time they only made stainless so that is what I got. I was a little concerned about bending the inlets or outlets because the Steel seemed thin but I never had a problem. I would never go back to PVC

Stainless is easier to rinse out IMHO but the biggest difference is how the cover attaches. Its a better seal on the stainless unless he changed the design on the PVC cover. On a couple of occasions, I have had the Devastator inside the home and you can not hear ANY leakage.

Great work, Tom!

Does it come with achrome coffeecup holder for the wand? All filters should. Gimbals are our friends...

I understand your guys concern and I had hesitations to but my stainless has held up extremely well.

I love the stainless dev but those damn latches always loosen up and or bend. I readjust every week even with Loctite. My clear lid cracked on my pvc Dev so I purchased the stainless. Can I just get a replacement lid? or is there a way to correct the latches on the stainless?

Why are you worried about the latches?
When under load, you couldn’t pry that lid off!
Unless you run a 370
