First, I hope the pet lovers here will understand that my obsession with this subject is not meant disrespectfully. I often ponder how many carpets and especially how many rugs would get cleaned if it wasn't for pets in the home.
But the facts continue to stun me:
84.6 million households have pets, vs 35 million that have children
70% have pets
80% feel pets should be treated as well as children
79% believe that pets should have the same quality of food as children
50% have purchased clothing or a fashion accessory for their pet.
Your customers (and some of you) are so emotionally invested in your pets that you cannot imagine a world without them.
As cleaners, market accordingly.
They are solid gold.....or to paraphrase Sgt Hartman from Full Metal Jacket again...they "sh*t (and pee) Tiffany cufflinks" for us all.
