Can't believe it didn't come with a glide. All Prochem wands come with glides when you buy a unit. 🤔

You need to get one. Why kill yourself, especially if its biting that hard on the carpet.
Agreed! I will be ordering one. I probably could have got them to throw one in but they did send me home with a bunch of free chemicals which honestly I'd rather have than the glide.

Quit worrying about the number game. I've used a 36, 45, 47, and now 65 blower. I've gotten the best performance on suction out of the 47 and 65 blowers. I'll admit when I had the 36 blower, I didn't know what the hell I was doing with a truckmount, so I think it could've put on a better performance, because I see nothing but awesome reviews on the 36 blower. The important part on any truckmount is to have the blower set between 13-15" of lift. If you see that you need more suction on the long hose runs, upgrade to a tm with a blower 2 sizes bigger than your current one. You'll see a better benefit to your investment.
65?

4.10.

a tri-lobe 650 is almost half the size of what most here consider a #6 blower(like on a Vortex/AT)

it's closer to a 47 than a #6 blower

Dude, you're crazy if you really think that. The increased amount of suction on my Everest vs my Titan is so much better, I see no comparison in the Titan vs the Everest. The difference is in the long hose runs and how fast that water gets to the tank. Sure, the amount of bite when the hose is empty is about the same, but when it's full of water from holding that trigger at 12flow after about 10 wet passes...there's the difference.

These had all been great questions 🙄. But, is the oil filter upside down on top of the engine. How messy is that oil change? Or is there a feature that makes not look like a fondue fountain?

Interesting ...

How does this compare to you guys with similar blowers from the big 3?

I have a CFI with a roots 36 and if I spin it all the way up to 3200 I only get 3 hg on the gauge. Curious how much resistance from the machine is normal/acceptable.
Depends on restriction. 1 1/2 inch hose it goes way up. 2 1/2 inch hose it drops. No hose at all it drops. Also your vac gauge may be broke buy a gauge on amazon that you can put at your inlet and test to see how close both readings are.

I believe the model number for that tri lobe is 410. It's the biggest one they have on the performance sheet for the Gardner Denver tri lobes. The 650 is probably just an advertising number for cfm.
Correct it’s a 4:10 blower also 650 is probably with a larger opening then the spec sheet

You also notice that as the inches climb, the CFM goes down. I don't think there is any advantage to increasing the lift beyond 13 or 14. Maybe if you're running 300 ft plus hose lengths or dual Wanding.

Yeah, I was just trying to see what people machines read with no hose hooked up. I guess I'm not very good a conveying my thought on here. I don't think my gauge is broken, but that's not a bad idea to get a tester.

A bad lid gasket will effect your vacuum to.

I got all the leaks in check. I'm big on that. My machine does well. I keep the relief set at 13 and if I'm doing commercial carpet I can hear it opening often.

Mostly I was talking about the machine plumbing. For example, does an Everest read 10 hg before you even hook up your hose? But, I can see how it shouldn't matter as much as I was making it sound.

Actually its way less messy than the typical side mount. All the oil drains back down into the crankcase. So when you take it off its empty.

I've set mine at 16" but I wind it down for flood extraction, the only advantage I see is on 200-250ft runs (which I hate doing with lil 36) it will still keep pulling now where it used to break relief at 14" leaving you waiting for it to catchup

How’s that Dynachem treating you? How many hours are on it so far?
I love it. about to hit around 103 hrs. So far zero complaints. Great suction and heat is amazing. I already did the first recommended maintenece. Super easy. Love the oil filter location. All the oil drains down into the crankcase so no mess. oil drain hose is nice and long has a valve on the end. Just pull it out and take of a simple cap open the valve and put it in your drain bucket. New oil and filter greased the blower. Done! It's no looker but it just works.
