And yes, the customer caused the bleeding sometime in the past
I'd be surprised if this guy knew what social media was.I wouldn’t.
Not because I think every rug needs immersion cleaning or you’ll be consigned to perditions flames.
I don’t recommend cleaning things with serious dye or texture damage.
Call me a misanthrope, but I have seen too many good cleaners blamed for damage because “it wasn’t THAT bad”, so I have nearly zero trust for people who ask you to do something like this.
No, that’s not fair....
I have zero trust in them.
Even if it doesn’t go to court, social media abuse is always a risk.
BOOOOO!Vacuum
Prespray
Rinse extract
I dont try to restore on a budget/time frameBOOOOO!
It's bled like crazy and is dry. How would you get the bleeding out in 30min before you cleaned it?
a little too bigLooks like it would fit in the standard household washing machine, what's the problem?
You're not going to get the dye bleed out. Nobody is going to get it out, period. Especially on a budget. I usually advise customers to put their trash in the trash.BOOOOO!

Don't forget the type of place I was at. Budget government apartments. They just want their place to be unique from all the other apartments around. He asked me if I could do anything to make it better and I told him I'd try but I won't work any miracles nor make it look new again. You're not going to get the dye bleed out. Wow! Can you not tell a difference? The second pic is the after picture. Look at it closerDo you have an after picture? How about a picture of the food stamps or the bag of crack you got paid with?
I try not to do those types of jobs. The problem is when you do a guy a favor, it bites you in the ass.Don't forget the type of place I was at. Budget government apartments. I've said it before that I clean for all types of customers. From the government housing and trailer parks up to the mansions and courthousesI try not to do those types of jobs. The problem is when you do a guy a favor, it bites you in the ass.
Oh I see now my brother. Looks great. Have a blessed day.Wow! Can you not tell a difference? The second pic is the after picture. Look at it closer

Once again, I only gave myself 30min on this rug for a reason. I had 5 other jobs after this one today. I think it would've looked much better, had it flushed it for an hour later.Oh I see now my brother. Looks great. Have a blessed day.
It's not so much how wealthy or poor they are, it's more a state of mind. I had a customer a few years ago that had a rug water damaged from a flood in their condo. I don't do contents restoration, I am working for the strata. The guy says he will pay me directly, so I bring it to the shop, dry it, clean and restore it and redeliver it. He accuses me of tearing the rug. The rug had an obvious tear when I picked it up. I didn't make any notations because it was just an old rug. Eventually, I just told the guy to go pound sand. Got paid for the strata job, never got paid for the rug.I've said it before that I clean for all types of customers. From the government housing and trailer parks up to the mansions and courthouses
Well in that case I would have done the rug for free and had the customer pull hoses the rest of the day.Once again, I only gave myself 30min on this rug for a reason. I had 5 other jobs after this one today. I think it would've looked much better, had it flushed it for an hour later.
