I have a competitor who I talk with from time to time. He's been cleaning carpet forever.

Has a top-of-the-line Butler and another van with a SS 570. Definitely doesn't run the Butler stock (no live connections or whip).

He said the 570 crushes the Butler on performance, but the Butler never keeps him up at night from stress.
We ran Saigers van next to a demo unit 570 and swapped hoses and wand back and forth..

The Saigerized Butler had more heat and vacuum.

Then it seems like a Butler would make sense. The 570 is what... 26K? Add the van and you're around the same price. Plus, I hear the Butler doesn't bypass water the way HX slide-ins do to regulate heat.

Alas.... I can't get a Butler with a Transit... I like my Transit a lot.

The Saigerized Butler would suck the paint off of a 570 or Pro 1200 SE.

I've put thousands of hours on all three.

Both the Butler and 570 are hotter than the 1200, and 570 even a bit hotter than the Butler, but would only be noticable in the middle of winter.
