Nevertheless, I would still like to know if any of them are as durable and effective as Kirby. A big production is being made over the Workhorse but the “why” is still a mystery.

Everything is more effective than a kirby. The clear cups are a neat trick but usually the foam filter fills up with fine particles very quickly and doesnt get cleaned very often. Bags are king.

Who cares? Are you going behind the vacuum with HWE? Then any vacuuming is better than none.

Are you going behind the vacuum with a diaper? Then it matters.

agree....

BUTT...

like filters not getting cleaned often enough, bags rarely get changed often enough either
and they lose airflow quick too.

Don't know how true it is, but some gOOrOO expUrt at some event once told us bags lose half their airflow when one third full

cups are very convenient ..that's the beauty of them

also agree, Kirbys ain't all that
they're the most over hyped vac on the market.
as far a vaccing, they're no better or worse than any other decent vac .
It's a "perception vs reality" thing that has the fanbouys yapping

as far as utility, they're about the bottom of the list
Only eclipsed by the rAinbOw......

Because when you hit pack out soil you can see reams of dirt pulling into the canister!

I have a hearing impaired cleaner so listening to the sounds of a fan isn’t practical. To actuall sight soil removal!

It’s really not that difficult

I was cleaning for a blind lady for a while and I was using a yellow sanitaire vacuum. She could always tell when I needed to change my belt on it by the sound it made.
