Ok here’s the situation, I have random shut offs runs and dies. Changed fuel pump and and a fuel line fuel filter.
Bypassed the float switch, got great fuel flow out the hose, but where fuel hose connects, there’s a screw on the gas cup that will let you see fuel flow.

well the fuel flow a lot out the hose direct but when I open the screw it flows slowly.

I guess it feels like the pot where the gas connect great flow out of the hose but barely any gas after that.
I’m taking it to my tech on Monday.

it’s really a head scratcher and pita at this point 4-5 restarts a job just to finish one stop

Check that your hoses are nice and tight. Make sure there are no cracks either in the hoses or fittings. Possible that air is getting in some how.

I pull the hose off green arrow here and gas is flowing great.

I open the screw red arrow, and gas use to flow out the bottom great. It trickles so I believe there’s possible blockage.
When I replaced the fuel pump the out bound port popped off, but I glued it back on and there’s no leaks,

There was no filter it’s a loose wire somewhere pasted the float switch that’s connect and in connects. I had a couple issues like that already where wires go bad

Well it started misfiring took to empire they replaced some spark plugs and plug boots, ran great, one job, it looks like between visits there was a small leak in the coolant hose and it created another misfire, trying to clean computer now and see if thy fix’s it.

that or maybe a coil issue.

I miss my 405’s lol

It doesn't matter to you now since you already know it's not a fuel related problem but the reason why the gas just trickled out the open screw is the volume is greatly reduced through the float valve.

Yeah I figured that out. I don’t know why I thought it was coming out faster at one point!
Still I wasn’t going to ever figures out a bad relay!
