Seems like nothing will clean carpet like a RE, but I'm getting mixed reviews.

Many say a CRB pre-scrub prior to HWE (with a wand) is all I need, but that doesn't make sense to me.

Many say a RE is too slow. That doesn't make sense, as the RE agitates and extracts simultaneously.

I do lots of urine jobs and also lots of carpet that hasn't been cleaned in years if ever.

I have a CRB and a couple good wands, so it would be nice to not buy a RE, but I'll buy one now if it adds value to my service as compared to my competitors who only wand and maybe agitate first with a CRB or whatever.

Even though a RE goes pretty slow, isn't it faster in the long run since you can eliminate steps?

Thoughts?

In god's country (Dayton, Ohio) our white trash like to let their dogs piss on their carpet in the winter. Seems like a RE would flush the piss out better.

Chris, the 360i will carve up that soil. If you can afford one, order one tomorrow. Or go on FB forums and ask around. Failing that, searchtempest.com will find anything on Craigslist, nationwide. Good luck!

I have an older RX-20 with low hours on it if you would like to try it out.

I know you stubborn carpet cleaners here hate Mytee, but it seems like the T-Rex Jr is pretty solid. About the same price as the 360i so whichever.

The 1976 Huffy handlebars on the RV look stupid and cheap.

I have both. The Trex Jr. is a much better tool.

If you do trashed, you will love the 360i on residential. I have a little truckmount like yours, and it accentuates it. Crb is good too, but like Mike said, have the tool for each situation. Might as well pimp it right.

Better how?
The Trex Jr. build is MUCH more solid. From the handle adjustment to the stainless steel head. We went from exclusively using wands to the RV Powerwands and to the RV360i then to the Mytee Trex Jr. Everyone of them were vast improvements over the last in quality of components, usability and quality of getting the carpets clean and dry. Using the Butler system we see how much water we use along with how much we extracted back. Each one was an improvement over the other.

Again, each of the tools mentioned above were an upgrade in performance, ie; clean and dry.
