What blower is really needed for single wand cleaning at 100'-150'?

You overthink this to much. I want peak 500
No, I hate wasted performance

all my motorbikes I've uncorked till I was the weak link

none of us can get past the 2" hose or wand doesn't matter whats in the truck (facts are stubborn things)

even though vacuum wise I don't need more than a 370 or 425, the drop in heat performance would annoy me

Bigger blower should last longer and be less trouble free while delivering better performance.

huh??

...........................................................................................

to the subject...never ran a 36.
so can't comment

but have owned TMs with 45 and 47 blowers .
I never saw a dime's worth of difference .

if there is an advantage in The 47 it would be you can spin it substantially slower and achieve similar CFM of a 45 wide open.
The advantage there?.....,NOISE reduction

otherwise I think you bigblowerhards are spouting anecdotal nonsense

yeah get a high performance v8 and put your nanas toyota corolas exhaust system on it
No. You put a TwinTurbo on the Corolla and a 4 inch exhaust. Then no power is wasted. But with the V8 you do the same job with less stress on the engine.

thats why the 575 is on my radar, not for extra vacuum but quieter than my 36 running at 3600rpm (it will drop below that underload but I don't have a tach on it) and hopefully comparable heat

That’s what bothers me. At 100’-150’ there’s virtually no difference in vacuum with all the different blowers (except a 33). The difference is heat production. So I can cut the HX out of my 318, install a muffler instead, which might make my little 18hp run better, and add a fuel fired heater. At short hose runs, my little machine could clean as good, if not better (with the extra heat from a diesel heater), than one of those 27k machines that use their biggest motors to simply produce more heat.

The difference in blowers is longer hose runs. The more CFM, the longer the hose run can be.

don't know if I'd be in hurry to cut a HX out even though I run and love fuel heat

can you make better heat with what you've got?

shorter solution hose
increased or decreased flow either through pressure or jet size etc

The Boxxer makes 200 degree heat all day long... except in the winter. It gets cold here.

why "cut HX'ers out" to add a burner? :headscratch:

and how would it "run better" with muffler ?
Having trouble with power now??

"legit" TM manufactures (like HM) just don't kork up engines without engine manufacture's input on allowable back pressures

On my 2 slide ins, the engine has it's own muffler. the blower has a commercial silencer, not a car muffler. The more restrictions you place before or after the blower, the more it will affect the performance. A small unit using the blower to generate heat will not perform as well as a blower going direct to the silencer. On a larger blower like the Butler Max or the Hydramaster 4.8 with Salsa, you won't notice the difference. Except for the added heat.

Do you get more frustrated when you have too much or not enough performance?
I like removing chewing gum and candle wax with no spotters, last week removed a melted plastic shopping bag off carpet that they'd put a hot iron on

FUEL BURNERS ARE AWESOME!

but not needed for most jobs admittedly

Because I hate the whole heat bypass, solenoid stuff that uses up perfectly good water. Plus, the hot water bypasses from two different places, so fixing it seems like a nightmare.

I think only major difference is the engine. Peak 500 is 31 hp where 370 is 23 hp.

I dont...but its sure better than my portable... I think peak 500 is about same 370?
My local dealer stopped selling the peak. The new Kawasaki motor needs a valve adjustment every 250 hours. They don’t trust the new Peak.

The peak is a little better but if you have enough money, I would go for the 570. Personally I like the 31 HP Kubota over the Kawasaki.
I've no experience with that kubota in gasoline but I'm familiar with the diesel variant in small tractors.. from blocked air filters and radiators to hoses ripped out of radiators they took some serious abuse from staff who just didn't care

The kawasaki is check/adjust if needed at 300 hours

not sure why a dealer would be wary of the kawi..............tons of mowers use the exact same engine. I wouldn't think twice about buying one
