I have a Kirby and a Sanitaire TRADITION but neither have a hose attachment. Any recommendations on a great all around vac?

I have a Kirby, sanitare, Windsor and a royal. I always grab my eureka boss. Take out the stupid duster and add your favorite edging tool. I bought the Windsor at the state surplus for 5 bucks because my wife sucked up dog doo with hers and I wasn't interested in cleaning it out.

Best edgers and professional vacuumes are windsor and pro team. My buisness has 15 vacuums in use every night. I have a mix of both. Sharks work great for the money, I use one at home. But why would you use the same tool as your customer can buy at wal mart or home depot?

My wife uses a customers Riccar at one of her house cleaning jobs. . I went behind it before I cleaned the carpet with my Eureka and filled it up with dog hair. I checked it out and found a dollar stuck in the hose. I new her kids were lazy but to suck up a dollar instead of reaching down and picking it up?

here's the deal
and anyone that thinks different is just ignorant

all vacs work well when new ...even the cheapest $39 dollar Bissell
None, regardless of price are worth a chit when overfilled, filters clogged or plugged ports

it comes down to a few things

usable onboard hose attachment
reasonable longevity in a body that will stand reasonable "crew abuse"
Filtration ..not just relative ease of maintenance/clean, but sealed/filtered enough you don't get a ton of dust blown back out into the room*

pret'near every $130-$200 vac accomplishes all that

it's stoopit to spend more
Cause they all look like azz (and soft bag holders smell like it) in a few years anyway .
So instead of replacing the bag or roll brush....buy a shinny brand new one

for $150 bukz, any BD can have "new every YEAR" vac

* filtration....I'm aware some facilities will spec an "honest" accounting of exhaust air filtration.
I know those vacs are more expensive ....you gotta do what you gotta do there

I said they're idiots for buying expensive vacs
when Sharks are so inexpensive to replace every year

and they're mo-rons if it doesn't have an easy onboard hose attachment

I sometimes mention this is the cheapest vac I own, but it works better than my 1000.00 vacuum. Usually there's a Kirby in the house, untouched and shiny new. I about strangled my stepdad when he was talked into buying a Kirby on payments when we were so broke. Although I did clean my first carpet with it. Did a decent job on my sisters apt.

They already have a cheap vacuum with a clear cup that fills up every time they use it. Showing them that you use a 150 dollar wal mart vacuum shows them that your cheap and unprofessional.
When I use our Shark my customers are always happy that they are using what I use. They always ask me what's better Dyson or Shark and I always tell them Dyson's are pieces of shit! Because they are.

Anybody try this one?

My life is in boxes in my garage. I needed a vacuum thread to settle my nerves. I found it!

I hope everyone is well...except Marty.

I have used it. Works better than an oreck. If for some unknown reason you dont need a wand, then it's a good choice.
I just love a vacuum thread where no one claims their kirby's are the best.
