Just ordered a new Chevy extended 2500 and a sapphire 370 I think for us having the machine and reel's out the back would be ideal. My main concern would be how the van would drive with the weight back. Thank you for any input.

I have seen some set ups like that but I don't understand the reasoning. I would much prefer the machine installed in the side door with the waste tank on the opposite wall. Hose reel is fine coming out the back. This gives you more useable floor space. Especially in an extended van.

Yes I've seen your 370 setup Mikey. This van will also be used for janitorial work when a employee has the other van. So the idea would be the side doors would have that stuff. Couple rag totes, cleaning tote, vacuum, mop bucket.

I have run a TM and Hoses out the back a couple of times. Because they where set up like that when I purchased.
If your gonna be cleaning much carpet go with a side mount for the TM.

Front tire wear was always a problem. Rear mount gives you a ton of space in basically a square at the side doors.

Running out the side door gives you easier set up because the engine exhaust is away from the house.
Rear mount will blow exhaust same direction as your pulling hose.

370 should leave you a good bit of room if you mount it right at the side door. Mike has space beside his that would store all your janitor stuff I bet. Hoses out the back with carpet stuff beside the reels.
