Got up to an alien world today. White stuff covering the ground. 4 inches deep by the end of the job and still coming down heavy.

I hate when my hoses get wet from the snow. You go to roll them up then you get drenched.

I have a neighbor with a ford 350 with 4 wheel drive and high roof. I admire it every time I drive by.
I had a quote done by Clydesdale out of Kamloops to do a 4WD conversion done on my van...
27K...
Uh, no, I think Iā€™ll stick with chains for now, and wait until my next unit...

i didnt even know they put cds's in astro vans. if my chevy keeps acting up im switching brands entirely. chevy and their constant problems are costing me $1000's
I think it was a brilliant move for city operations. Powerful enough with a 45 blower, not the hottest, a 6 flow will pull your temp down quickly but around 190 f. Tons of room in the back for a portable or some flood gear and most importantly in the city, it gets into the underground parkades where a full size van can't go. I wish they still made them. I'd love to have a 4.8 with salsa.

If you pulled a Saiger today Ron I'd really be impressed. All this week's work rescheduled due to inclement weather. Snowbound is boring. Semi retirement sux azz too.

I did a job in my building yesterday. Just had to back out of the parkade. Cancelled everything else. Cancelled everything today. Supposed to go to west Van tomorrow. Hopefully it warms up. Could be freezing rain.

65 degrees and sunny in NC today. Got the White Magic pulled out and ready to haul to the graveyard. Removed the lettering from the van and cleaned her up to get on the market.
