Several years ago Genny tried the Christian thing. I forget the issue now but she changed it after a few months.
Before Trump through the assistance program she was paying almost $300 a month with a high deductible.
Now she's paying about $75 with a lot better coverage and our taxable income is up.

Blue Cross / Florida Blue... $2700 a month for a top tier PPO. That's for me and Nancy together (non-smokers in overall excellent health). Not a pleasant pill to swallow each month.

In my fantasy world I never get sick or see the inside of a hospital. In reality, the whole family is covered under my wife's plan through her employer. If I recall, we shell out over $800 month for family of 4.

What a crime against humanity!

Mexico sounds better by the day. This thread just renewed my interest in retiring to Alcopulco.

If you were in Mexico right now you'd be packing your bags and begging to get back across the border.

This years plan is BCBS and we pay $50 a month for 3 people with a $7500 deductible. We do get $45 office visits or $75 for a specialist and it pays my wifes insulin 100% where last year we paid $600 a month.

Are you seriously kidding me? Your shelling out $800. For a family of 4 and you’re howling😳 Before we went to the old folks home of Medi- Care, we were paying $1,600 for a family of TWO!!!
Try that on for size!!

I pay $55/month with no deductible, occasional co pay on meds and it only cost me 33 years.

I expect it to be whittled away before too long, as these things always do.
