Some of our commercial accounts I like to rotate quarterly between HWE and Encapsulation. I would like to sell more protectant but will something like Saiger's Super Sealer or Maxim F'Up the encapsulation process? Forgive me if I've already asked this or it's been covered.

You do not want to apply a protector that causes re-soiling. Most solvent-based protectors, like our own, will promote re-soiling. Every water-based fluoro-chemical protector that I have tested, resists soil more than the polymers left after an encapsulation cleaning.

To be clear, you’re applying the protector after the HWE cycle?

If so, you’re good.
Yes, that's correct after HWE. I was concerned that the next quarter when I encapsulate it could in some way cause the carpets to be sticky or in some way have an adverse affect on the carpets when applying encapsulant.

Last time for one or our buildings I HWE'd and applied Advanced Protector with Teflon. Would there be any issue with encapping that 3 months from application?

No issues with encapsulation and fluoro-chemicals after time duration. It is better to apply protector after extraction and encapsulate in between extractions.

I do. But I am a little taken back by the “re soiling promotion” talk. And the “ nothing ever really gets vacuumed out”.

everything Jimmy says is gold

whatever he posts, I carefully write on a post it note and place on my walls

Read enough of Jimmy's stuff, and this is how you will be writing on the walls.

Soileze Protector: Designed to work in tandem with encapsulation. Complements the encap process. It’s exactly what you’re asking for.

The name Soileze sounds like a dietary additive to aid in the removal of skid marks. No doubts that it’s a great product.

Soileze is fully compatible with Releasit encapsulation products. In fact, it's included in the formula of our primary encap detergents. Apply Soileze sparingly, a little goes a long way. Apply lightly at a rate of 400-600 square feet per gallon (applied undiluted). Use a spray tip that will deliver a fine spray pattern.

No worries... they're starting out from the Sunshine State.
And we got everything good-n-warm for you before the journey. :icon_razz:

In fact, Releasit products are freeze/thaw stable through 2 full cycles. So you'll be OK.

Thanks for giving the samples a try. Let me know what you think.
