I have the same Roomba in my house. The damn thing no longer self cleans the dust bin. The Icon disappeared from the app. Really annoying. I have a call into Roomba for help. As far as cleaning, you gotta empty the bag every few days. Our POS Oreck broke.

I had one follow me around like a weird puppy when I was doing flooring repairs finally trapped it in another area. I thought someone was fooling with me. Always wanted to try a laser pointer in its sensor was told it makes them go bonkers

Well, It was a customer service experience like I have never had. They had me live video the roomba with my cell phone. They wanted video proof that it was not self vacuuming out it's dust bin. My situation has now been escalated to the next level.

I think I'll now go take apart my Oreck and see why it's smoking. It's a real PIA. The screws that hold the bottom plate on are cheap Chinese and the heads like to strip out. When it works, it works good.

Ok. After taking it apart and looking into it more. I turned it on and was pelted in the face by little ball bearings. My hope is these balls are from something the vac picked up and not part of the motor. Seems to be working now. But thank you all for listening to my rants. My wife will be very happy again. She likes the Oreck.
