The best part is, I hardly ever have to empty it!

Robot vacuum work a dumping dock .

how to pay much attention to these things but apparently this one backs in and a bigger stronger vacuum sucks the debris out of it and puts it into a rather large bag The male homeowner was gleeful that it rarely needs dumping which gave me a chuckle..

That was certain that the premature traffic lane twist that was very apparent from the kitchen to the main TV chair was partially due to the crappy vacuum so I put a fresh bag in my oreck and hit it from 18 directions and lo and behold hardly anything was in there.

No pets and good windows and they wipe their feet.

shitty Smartstrand..

I always thought that they just "sweep" dirt into the cup and don't have any vac motors.

They say they go on a random pattern. Every home I’ve been into that has one, have these weird robot patterns against every wall....

I have the same Roomba in my house. The damn thing no longer self cleans the dust bin. The Icon disappeared from the app. Really annoying. I have a call into Roomba for help. As far as cleaning, you gotta empty the bag every few days. Our POS Oreck broke.

I had one follow me around like a weird puppy when I was doing flooring repairs finally trapped it in another area. I thought someone was fooling with me. Always wanted to try a laser pointer in its sensor was told it makes them go bonkers

We’re waiting
Well, It was a customer service experience like I have never had. They had me live video the roomba with my cell phone. They wanted video proof that it was not self vacuuming out it's dust bin. My situation has now been escalated to the next level.

I think I'll now go take apart my Oreck and see why it's smoking. It's a real PIA. The screws that hold the bottom plate on are cheap Chinese and the heads like to strip out. When it works, it works good.

Ok. After taking it apart and looking into it more. I turned it on and was pelted in the face by little ball bearings. My hope is these balls are from something the vac picked up and not part of the motor. Seems to be working now. But thank you all for listening to my rants. My wife will be very happy again. She likes the Oreck.

Luv the YouTube video where the young couple returns home (all caught on home surveillance video) and find that their Roomba (auto vac) has spread dog feces all over their place, ruining many furnishings--hillarious as long as it's THEIR problem and not mine.

Hilarious, until they call you to clean it.

Well, looks like my Oreck is trashed. I just tried vacuuming the house and it started smoking. Looks like those bearings were part of the motor. Crap. Off to Best Buy to get a Shark.

Still easy to fix.. motor is cheaper than a new vacuum still.
