I once cleaned a microfiber couch with vapor steam. It worked wonderfully to set the nap in six dozen different directions.
On the callback I used a mop head like that to groom it all the right direction and have used HWE since.

I like the idea of the larger steam vacuums like the Carmen inox with 2 power cords. Light to moderate soil you should just be able to steam it. Stains or heavy soil, apply the proper product and steam it out.

I believe you can bonnet clean residential but you need multiple bonnets and keep changing them until you get no more soil coming out . Otherwise, your just spreading the dirt around. Different on commercial glue down.
