That answers the question; it's a DDS!

PTO is generic - any power take off. DDS is generic - any direct drive system. So I guess we'll have to wait to find out what mechanism AT is using.

CDS (clutch drive system) is trademarked by Hydramaster, so while copying the unit is fair game, the copies have to be called something else.

Because you didn't understand the very valid question there's no need insult him Mike.

AT is known for solid PTO machines driven off the transmission (you've had 2). That can handle more load than a shaft drive off a clutch on the front drive.

Several other builders also had that before HM registered the term cds. HM originally had a pto drive.

PTO is much more robust, but at a price.

I couldn't find any info on aero tech newer than 2016 on a quick search.
