First job today. Pain in the butt. The bill came to $434. The lady was beside herself at the cost. She was super picky and the townhouse was a bit of a challenge to get into. The carpet was a light blue nylon and this lady wanted every little spo
So about 30 minutes into the job, the lady returns and tells me “I think you should know, the last cleaner was 20% lower than you”. I She then continued on saying “Well, I just thought you should know you’re 20% higher”.

When you go into the Mercedes dealership do you tell them the Ford dealer is 20% cheaper

it’s impossible for one cleaner to be 20% Less AND have you be 20% more then the same cleaner
I had my first wreck today, totaled my Sienna. But...nobody hurt and insurance people were top notch.

Took the rest of the day off.

Lemme guess. The Sienna was a 1994 model with a broken tail light and insurance gave you the $559 salvage value

I've towed/ hauled lumber and roofing material that most of you here and on other sites said would destroy the 1500, with little to no effort up and down 5,000 ft of elevation ..

2005 in excellent condition. Bought Theresa a newer one just like it. I liked it for versatility hauling grandkids securely, to ferrying tools to the boys' job sites.

Pfred may be close on the payout though, people were surprised I had over 380,000 miles on it. New tires and $900 tune up in June...spilt milk.

Took Friday off because the boat launches at the lake are empty. Being on the lake with all the drunk weekend warriors is not fun for me. Working through the weekend.
That’s the great thing (and one of the few) about being old and at the pointing stage. You can go grocery shopping, or golf, or lake, or whatever and skip weekend warriors. No WalMart on weekends!!

And, it’s pretty funny when your alarm panel sends you a text to inform you the back door is still open😂 Or the TV asks you if you’re still watching😂😂 #old

You think you have a Canadian team that will make it past the first round?
No but I'm still backing the Canucks till they fall. Who know, with this abbreviated playoffs, they might pull it off. We have some exciting young players and good goal tending. We are still a little weak on defense.
