Is that also from the Book of John, or is it from the Book of Michael?

(I agree with the philosophical part of the statement, by the way.......I’m just still pondering how I feel about jiggling cut pile carpet)
It’s not like this carpet won’t be cleaned for the next ten years. This was a maintenance cleaning. I realize there are years of tales with Trinity, but just say Orbot or any other OP. Mikey got the job done, customer is happy. Can’t that be the end of the story.

Jim you're thinking of the jigglers of old with a short throw that were more prone to turning carpet tufts into Don King hairdos. These larger orbit machines along with the miracle of microfiber are extremely safe on every pile I've touched, no distortion and they're actually correcting cornrowing if you can believe that.

This house was 600 ft of carpet made spotless fluffy and smelling good with one gallon of water and an ounce and a half of chemical.....

Let that sink in

Now what do you think it would take the hot water extract that?

30 gallons of water?

And how much chemical?

What's the point of over cleaning when you can under clean and cause no harm and have an ecstatic customer?
Show us a pic of the microfiber pads. Where are you getting them?

Well I guess if we all did everything the same there would be no use for this board. I have no experience in residential work as all we do is commercial so maybe I’m off base, but why overthink the job. Sounds like he could have used the TruckMount and taken three times longer and abused his body. Less chemical, water and wear on tear on the truck and his body. And most importantly a happy customer. If that’s wrong, I’ll gladly be Wrong all the time.

so jealous...
I have about 20 white pads and a couple of foam core blue pads. I'll have to find some cut pile to try them out on. What juice are you using?

TOPS sent me some Quadrooople strength Pad Cap Pro to try (1 once per gallon) but most any encap works fine with an OP
Post spotting with some dwell time is key.

With Foam Core pads, while sort of a bitch, stick to pads just a marty bigger than your pad driver if you want them to last. The more quilting the better, keeps the foam in place.

But go way bigger with your cotton blend finish pads to hit the edges

Post groom with a wood block rake asap.

I have a variety of encap juices. My most concentrated is 4 ounce to a gallon.

If the people that make carpet say that the best way to clean it is HWE, then that is what I will use.

No need to reply about warranties, etc. My point is they have done all the testing and should know what is best to use on their product.

Seems pretty simple to me.

All else falls within the Oxyfresh, ChemDry category.

He's removes the highest amount of soil in my opinion. Doesn't always deliver the best appearance. I can't say if I want to offer op to my residential clients but I see the advantage at times. Especially in drying times. Depends on what the client wants and what you are trying to accomplish.

Oh, have things changed. I remember being in Mikey's garage at the second Mikefest and him just mocking John G. about his jiggler and how inadequate it was. They had a clean off between Mikey's Vortex and the jiggler. Mikey smoked him. Steam Cleaning was the only acceptable method...I love those memories...

lets just leave out any mention of the condition of THAT carpet.

I can't help it all you idiots planned your van lay outs so poorly that an extra two square feet of floor space devoted to another method is out of the question.

wheels up machines and 100% cotton pads were the ugly truth back then but lets just pretend that doesn't matter so you can stay comfortably numb in your averageness.

I don't disagree, that carpet was hammered. It was just the context of the conversation.

John just wouldn't give up...lol
