experience.jpgThe Experience Events, LLC has been carefully monitoring the pandemic caused by COVID-19. We have continued to work to bring the latest information and technology to our industry online. Our industry, YOU, are on the frontline helping people solve issues with the virus in their environments. Your Pride carries through each of us to keep moving forward in the right direction and doing jobs correctly to protect public health and safety.

Our current plans have not changed at this time. We are continuing to follow the actions of the State of Nevada polices and based on their actions will make a final determination about our show in the coming weeks. Our foremost concern is for the health and safety of our exhibitors, attendees and staff.

The Experience Convention and Trade Show has had discussions with Governor’s Office in Nevada, The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Caesars Entertainment. Many attendees and exhibitors have expressed that they want to meet – Safely – in person this year, (we agree), but the current Nevada regulations will not allow any meetings over 50 attendees to take place.

Our hotel and conference center has a meeting with the Governor of Nevada later this week and we will have more information to make an informed decision. Our staff will work diligently to communicate with you before beginning to implementing the next steps to take in moving forward. The Experience Events cancelled our contract with the Paris Hotel for September 2020 and has put on hold the new dates of November 18-20, 2020 at the brand new Caesars Forum and the Harrah’s newly remodeled hotel.

We have received new information, technology, hands on demonstrations and protocols to share with the industry Now. We have been contacted by several companies about the newest technology for COVID virus and how to destroy it and they will be on site with their new technology when we hold our events.
We have created The Experience University, an Online event starting September 2nd and running through February 2021. We will offer weekly classes on Wednesdays instead of trying to do a 2 or 3 full daylong event online. Our classes will vary from 45 minutes timelines for recorded events and up to 3.5 hour Live Events. The program is the most comprehensive attempt to bring our industry a full spectrum of up to date valid information to help companies during these times and to assist in their continued grow. The events are almost complete and we are now working on building the production of this new online opportunity.

We invite you to join the Experience University’s online educational programs as a sponsor. We will forward to you a sponsorship package to consider as a way to keep your brand and products in front of the Experience Audience. Obviously we would appreciate your support.
We will have webinars every Wednesday through February 2021 for this weekly series. There will be opportunities for round table discussion, prizes for participation, vendor introductions and presentations and great hands on learning as The Experience is known for. Visit The Experience Website for more information.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.

There are some things I don’t do:

Chase bear cubs with mama bear nearby

Pick hornet’s nests off branches

Stuff live rattlesnakes into my pockets

......and trust claims that any treatment can make a place safe from infection from a very poorly understood virus.

Yeah like the official government (CDC) claim now claiming that two LYSOL products kill it on contact. I was on a job where a 4th grader told me:

" I don't believe everything they are saying about this virus because they keep changing their minds. MY MOM makes me use hand sanitizer every time we get back into the car when we are out. You know that's a chemical. Who says those chemicals won't be worse for my health when I'm old. When I'm at my dad's my stepMOM sets our shoes in a paint pan of Clorox. My sister's shoe feel apart and there is a foot print on the carpet too. My grandma says just wash your hands and that they are both crazy and I think they are too".

yeah....”destroy” definitely stood out to me. I wasn’t aware there was a way to destroy Covid, and if there was why is it still around?

That’s a lofty claim. I’m hoping it was just a poorly thought out word choice.....which still doesn't bode well for a professional organization to let something like that slip through, if it was a poor choice in wording.
