Dang’s wand seems to be everywhere. At least I think it is. JB, T-M-F, Steamaction has swivels to.

The only difference I see is the locking mechanism by the swivel head.

Devastator is a solid build. Based off my experience at Mikey’s Fest. But why are so many others similar? Are they all sharing the same patents?

What are the differences between them all?

They’re ALL trying to be Devistator
Nobody seems to make a 1 1/2 inch swivel with a window. I’m thinking of pulling the trigger on his. But I really want to stand out with it being color powder coated.

Eli, the Dev is expensive. But you will instantly know that it is solid quality and be glad you got it.
instead of powder coat, why not buff it to a mirror shine? Being stainless it will not dull easily and it will look very distinctive.

Finally an answer. I would leave it in its own state. I’m not good with buffing things haha.

I blame it on the person who soaked the laminate and made it swell.

Hey Eli, I had a real good conversation with Tom in Phoenix about this subject. He basically told me that the big difference is in the bearing. Tom puts together each bearing and makes sure there is no slop and that the tolerances are to spec. As far as Dang wands go, his are more geared towards production and not quality. Some bearings may have more slop in them than others and in the end will be the first to fail.

He’s still in the game, but is in the process of upgrading his production capabilities. Be patient.

I wish him well (sincerely)
But maybe his OCD is hampering him
I get wanting to build a Cadillac, but is he hand building the things like a Rolls Royce?
