Have 4 50 foot sections. I’ve gone 200 once, 175 a handful of times.

Often times, when I pull 150’, I only need 125’.

Seems dumb to use all 25’ sections, so what do y’all do?

On my Astro Van I don't have a hose reel. I hang my hose from the ceiling with bungee cords. The first one closest to the rear doors is what a carry into the home. 50' with a 15' whip of either 1.5 or a softer 2 inch. I have 2 25' lengths, 2-50' lengths. Just grab whatever is needed. On the Cleanco, it's all in 50' lengths, mainly because I've been too lazy to cut and cuff one of the hoses. I use flash cuffs. You get some leakage at the cuffs but better air flow all around, imo.

@Mikey P interesting setup. Is this for the 370? did you modify it to take 2.5 hose?

I have 4 50's with 10ft to lint filter.
I use two 50' and 10ft lint filter most of the time.
My 370 has a 2.5 port on the face.

I bring in the 1st (last?) three sections and lay em out from the furthest point on out.
95% of the time the 2.5 is all I need to complete the run..

Survey.
Pre vacuum.
Pre spot if needed.
Install runners and corner protection if needed.
Turn on 370 and apply some back pressure to heat water.
Bring in pressure hose and wand.
Connect hose, turn down heat and bring in HF.
Spray 500 ft or so.
Bring in vac hose.
Start wanding my way out.

Or:

Pre vac.
Pre spot.
Bring in PHX.
Say ten hail Marys.
Gtfo.

Oh yeah, your for hire synopsis sure does tell the whole story.

You left out:

Less steps but more time.
I have to do laundry.

Your WHAT?

I asked this the other day, and you ignored it, but I'ma have to ask again...

Who ARE you? I mean, I'm pretty sure I had a conversation with a guy about 6 years ago, and he had a name very similar to yours, but this was when I was running a porty and a Cimex. THAT asshole kept pushing my buttons, talking about how porty's were crap, and if you wanted to clean carpet the RIGHT way, you had to have a BIG machine. Blah, blah, blah. I'd THOUGHT it was you, but I'm obviously confused.

Right?

And the guy that moved to the high chaparral that can clean with his waist tank lid off and still get better dry times than you would with a 6008 blower...
